Wiwibloggs, in partnership with Hard Rock Cafe Lisboa, is proud to present the 2018 edition of The Wiwi Jam.

As Lisbon welcomes the world for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, wiwibloggs celebrates its love for pop music in Portugal’s historic capital city.

The Wiwi Jam sets anchor inside the stunning Hard Rock Cafe Lisboa on May 9th from 22H00 to 01H30.  We will welcome several stars competing in this year’s Eurovision, as well as special guests from past editions and also the X Factor.

Our list of stars is growing by the minute. As of Thursday evening, we can publicly confirm the following artists: France’s Madame Monsieur, Bulgaria’s EQUINOX, Cyprus’ Eleni Foureira, Iceland’s Ari Ólafsson, Finland’s Saara Aalto, Lithuania’s Ieva Zasimauskaite and Azerbaijan’s AISEL. There’s more. In addition to these 2018 competitors, we are pleased to welcome Portugal’s Eurovision 2014 star Suzy and Montenegro’s Eurovision 2017 act — and X Factor UK alum —  Slavko Kalezic.

We’ll be announcing more artists in the days ahead, so stay tuned.

As ever, our William and Deban will serve as hosts and conduct brief on-stage interviews with the stars. More than a dozen more wiwibloggers — who you’ll recognise from YouTube and the web site — will also be on hand to par-tay…and share a bit of gos.

Hi guys. We too are disappointed that ticket sales went up early. This is all managed through Hard Rock Cafe. They made the sales link public to test that it was working for two minutes earlier this morning. During those two minutes, eager fans who noticed it was live purchased all the 19:00 dinner seats. The restaurant made sure to close / lock the ticket sales. But then their system automatically reopened — they don’t know why — and eager fans bought all the tickets within 30 minutes. We are currently having discussions with them to see how best to… Read more »

William please understand it’s not fair to just go ahead with the tickets being sold like this! We never had a chance and it’s completely unfair. The right thing to do is to cancel them and start again.

It’s very easy to do- VISA do refunds every minute of the day. If it costs money the venue should pay if it was there mistake. The only people who would object are those who got tickets this morning.

On a more positive note: Congratulations for selling so many tickets. 🙂

It is a big disappointment indeed; if things change please let us know; I reckon it won’t make much sense to ask for tickets on the door at the night of the event? Well, better luck next year… 😉

After being one of the unfortunate all I can say is this was not a good day for lots of us Wiwifans. 8-…( And PLEASE choose a bigger venue next year!! Maybe we`ll meet next weekend in Lisbon at the blue carpet show.

Hi, if more tickets go on sale (preferably without dinner), can I buy 3 at the same time? I ask because we are 3 people wanting to go together, and we don’t want to risk that one gets ticket and the other two don’t get. And by the way, I also read this morning that tickets would be released at 13 CET. At 1155 I saw that tickets were on sale «now”. However, when going on to the purchase link, some times it said “Event sold out” and other times it seemed like I managed to buy a ticket, but… Read more »

Such a shame !!!! I booked my fly ticket for Lisboa and I was keen to join Hardrock Café for this Wiwijam Party.
I’m very angry and disappointed – Just cancel and start again this Saturday, for example – Please….

Such a shame. I understand it wasn’t your fault for putting tickets on sale earlier then it was stated, but you also have to understand us! We are working/studying, so can’t be on our phones all day randomly clicking on the link in case “maybe tickets will be on sale earlier”! In my opinion you should cancel all transactions and start it all over. Give us another sale date like this Saturday for example, announce the time and let us try to buy them fairly!

Plus now I don’t know what to do! Shall we all randomly check their website in case they put up some more tickets? Will it be today? Tomorrow? Ever? I don’t trust the whole system anymore. Will you announce when more tickets are going to be put up for sale? Or they will again put them up whenever they feel like it?

Will any new tickets be released,

If the sale is cancelled, those who bought tickets ahead will understand. They already knew that the official sale time was noon (Lisbon time), and are aware that they took advantage of an open link.
But if the sale is not cancelled, lots of eurofans will probably feel anger and frustration, as the comments are already showing. And it will all seem unfair and poorly organised. It’s not in the spirit of the festival.

Who wants this?? Come on wiwibloggs!

Well, as a Eurofan, this:

“There was a technical mistake but the tickets were not supposed to be on sale. So let’s allow everyone a fair chance to get them and start all over”.

is easier to understand than this:

“There was a technical mistake which allowed some people to buy the tickets ahead of everyone else, leaving no option for those of you who did follow our indications. We’re kind of sorry, but hey, you can queue outside just in case”.

I think anyone would relate.

Was really looking forward to this.

Shameful communication about the time.

Cancel it & start again.

I’m also very disappointed that the tickets were sold out before the time stated on your press release.

In the interests of fairness you should cancel all the tickets sold and let us know a correct time that they will be online. It’s not right that we were told the wrong time for when the tickets would be on sale

Thought this was going on sale at 1 PM, just before I had to go away… and now sold out and I got no more time to buy one. Great 🙁 First no Euroclub, then no ticket for the Fan Cafe, now none for the Wiwijam. Last time I’m going to Eurovision.

You put them on sale 1 hour before the indicated time and now they are sold out.
Excuse me but I fail to see the logic in this.
Did all you bbfs and colleagues get tickets?

Hi, great line up so far, definetly interested in attending!
Just one question-when you say dinner is at 19:00 or 22:00, does that mean If you were to get dinner at 19:00 than you have the table for the full night (19:00 to 01:30) or will you have to move at 22:00 when the next people come in for their dinner?

I look forward to seeing ye all there

So as I understand it, do the concert start at 22:00 so if you choose to have dinner at 22 you are eating while the concert is on?

That’s right. But the tables are upstairs on the first floor, so you have prime seating to simultaneously enjoy the show. Balcony views! <3

Even if I weren’t into Eurovision I’d still go there – where else can you get a 35 Euro dinner with drinks included?

You can find yourself a Hard Rock Café…
