Amid all the rehearsals, press conferences and interviews, the stars of Eurovision 2018 barely have time to sleep. But that didn’t stop several of them from lighting up the stage at Eurovision Village on Friday evening as part of the Nordic Party pre-party…and a special Trumps Lisboa evening starring Eleni Foureira.

The acts from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden took to the stage at Terreiro do Paço as part of the Nordic Party. They were also joined by some acts from further south — with Cyprus, FYR Macedonia and Slovenia all making an appearance. Rasmussen and Elina Nechayeva kicked things off with performances of their songs before Saara Aalto treated fans to both “Queens” and “Monsters”.

Ari Ólafsson and Alexander Rybak performed their Eurovision 2018 songs and Benjamin Ingrosso sang both “Good Lovin'” and “Dance You Off”.

Our very own Deban and Antranig were on scene to witness all the excitement as Eleni Foureira turned her segment into a half hour dance party, performing a number of her songs including “Fuego”, as well as a medley of everything from Katy Perry to Jennifer Lopez.

FYR Macedonia’s Eye Cue were up next and performed in Macedonian before giving us a taste of “Lost and Found”.

Slovenia’s Lea Sirk rounded out the show with performances of “Amar Pelos Dois” and “Hvala, ne!”, closing the show with some slick choreography.

Our Deban, Suzanne and Antranig were on scene mingling with the stars following their performances.

Eleni Foureira — Trumps Club

The fun didn’t stop there, as wiwibloggers Chris, Deban, Padraig, Bernardo, Sebastian and Antranig went on to the Trumps Club in Lisbon to see more of Eleni Foureira. The fire was raging as Eleni performed for another half hour into the early hours of the morning. She performed her medley of songs, including “Fuego”, “Reggaeton”, “Tranquila” and “Sto theo me paei (Golden Boy)”. Eleni was on fire and the blaze brightened up the darkness of late night Lisbon.

With the semi-finals just around the corner, the atmosphere surrounding Eurovision is building. What do you think of the performances from yesterday’s previews?

It’s with deep regrets I have to say that I’m starting to lose trust in wiwiblog. it’s so obvious you are promoting Cyprus for some reason. Unfortunately you are not objective anymore. How can I trust your opinion. I used to watch you all the time. Now I’m questioning it. Sorry.

So… where all countries invited to this Nordic Party or only Slovenia and Chyprus? If so, bad bad bad guys! Either you organize a Nordic party with Nordic participants or invite everybody! For me, no votes for Nordics this year. Sorry!
And… Chyprus went to this party when she didnt participate in any of the preparties?

You do know the purpose of parties right? You invite who you like! It is only for Nordic countries, meaning that they can choose to invite or not invite anybody. No one is obliged to invite everyone, that’s not how it works. Stop thinking every ESC participant should invite all other participants!

It’s a matter of fraternity between contestmates. I don’t find it nice.

Lots of delegations join together to throw events, and sometimes they throw their own. Tonight is the Israel Party and 15 delegations will perform.

Yes but ALL countries are invited. Even during the Israel party, Saara Aalto of Finland attends. Last year, winner Salvador and Greece’s Demy attended a few of them since they couldn’t go to any pre-ESC parties or concert due to their health issues and busy schedules.

seeing how they were invited probably not. And unlike ESC fans on here none of them are 15 year old drama queens making a fuss about events occuring last week
