Tonight, he’ll hope to take Montenegro back to the grand final after two years of non-qualifications. But before his semi-final two performance, Vanja Radovanovic caught up with our Deban.
Following his first rehearsal last week, the Balkan balladeer confirmed he was happy with his staging.
“I’m really happy with my own performance, but not with the girls: they are not from Sweden.”
“The truth is, I never considered writing ever something to enter the nation finals with. When I saw last year it was going to be Portugal, I though that it was the right reason to enter the national final now”.
“It’s a boring song. Yes, I saw the wiwibloggs reaction video. Now tell me what you really think!”.
“The song is about coldness, yes, but with a happy ending: it’s about the frost on people’s relationships, but at the same time it’s about feeling good about that love, despite everything”.
“If you are in the art of music, you don’t have to do everything perfectly. You can always find bad things, but that is less important”.
Hahaha
He is so cute i l love him and I think a his song is beautiful xx
Lol that was priceless, best attitude ever.
I do think Montenegro is qualifying, they got a good running order. Best of luck!
The Balkan Salvador. He tells you the thing right at your face and I freakin’ love it!
It might not be the best song, but Vanja has just such a great personality that he as a person alone, would deserve more than just participating at the semifinal.
This guy is funny and relatable as hell, I admire his savageness. My fingers are crossed for them to qualify tonight.
The best person this year! #SaveTheMontenegrin
I hope he qualifies tonight. Europe, make it happen!
He’s a savage, I love it
Go tell ’em, Vanja! The trash-talk and favouritism this year has been the worst. Deban was shook!
