The biography of Måns Zelmerlöw just got a little longer: pop star, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, host of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 and now…the father of a little boy. Congratulations!

The “Heroes” singer and his fiancée — the English actress Ciara Janson — welcomed their first child together earlier today. Both of them shared the happy news and photographs of the three of them together on their Instagram accounts.

“Welcome to the world you perfect little superhero,” Zelmerlöw wrote. “Eurovision 2038 – here we come!”

Janson welcomed the baby with tender words: “Happy Birthday to our perfect little Swedish Specimen 💙”.

The former Hollyoaks star already has a son, Archie, born in 2014, from a previous relationship. A few days ago she wrote on Instagram that Archie would be “the best big brother in the whole world”.

Janson and Zelmerlöw began their relationship in 2016 and announced their engagement in July 2017. They currently maintain a residence in London.

The happy couple revealed they were expecting in December 2017. Earlier this month, Janson commemorated her pregnancy in a series of beautiful photographs taken by maternity photographer It’s Motherland, in which she proudly showed her baby bump.

Janson and Zelmerlöw spent the last few days at The Lodge Resort, a New England style hotel (with a spa on top) in Romeleåsen in Skåne, Sweden. They enjoyed some time together before the arrival of their infant.

“Babymooning (yes that’s apparently a thing) at @thelodgeresort, the most amazing hidden gem in southern Sweden,” the singer posted on the 16th of May.

Måns, Ciara and Archie, congratulations!

What do you think Ciara and Måns will name their little boy? Will he compete in Eurovision some time in the future? Tell us in the comments section below!

I would have congratulated them if the father’s reaction was not so pathetic. Your child has just been born and your first reaction is to post your face on Instagram, seriously? Next time what will be, his first poo in the pot? what are these people who do not even protect their privacy and the image of their child? The place of a baby is not on social networks!

If you talk about Royal Protocol…how about Kate, in high heels with the baby in front of media, just after giving birth.

May I ask what exactly hetero love wins? Is there a battle now: hetero love vs. gay love? For real?

Yes, there is, but gay love is more prestige. In the ancient Greece, the ancient country with the highest levels of intelligence, many scientists, philosophers and mathematicians, it was say gay love was “platonic” or “philosophic” love and considered the best kind of love. As you see, we owe a lot now to Ancient Greece. Yes, babies do come from straight people, but sex is a plebey, low-key love. In the other hand, gay love is luxury and more important. Also Andersen, Alan Turner and Alexander the Great were gay.

Congratulations to the happy family! I’ll wager a guess. I’m kinda hoping they go with a Swedish name, but one that is generally easy to pronounce in English (so no Björn or Åke). I think Mikael comes to mind (as in Mikael Blomqvist, the main male character in Stieg Larsson’s Millennium novels), as does Axel (also the name of a main character in Jules Vern’s A Journey to the Center of the Earth, but it would also pair nicely with Archie), Daniel, and Erik. And then with an English-sounding middle name. Personally, I’ll go with Axel, not just for its… Read more »

And why is that?

The country will not be able to compete in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest due to debt-related sanctions placed on them by the EBU.
