Since wowing Belgium on The VoiceBlanche has found her niche in the dark arts, delivering avant-garde pop that strays away from the bright and breezy. Her Eurovision number “City Lights” and her follow-up “Wrong Turn” capture a woman defining her sound — and defining it rather well.

Today she’s dropped the lyric video for her third single “Soon”. Playing to her minimalist style, the song has a more acoustic, stripped back feeling. Gone are any and all electronic flourishes, replaced by guitar strums, a bit of cymbal and the sound of drum sticks against each other. Pared back but never boring, the song draws fire from Blanche’s dark vocals, which thread it all together nicely.

The song consists of just 12 concise lines, giving it the feel of a poem set to music. It can be read in any number of ways, but it definitely starts with turmoil. The opening lyrics? “What a beautiful lie to be quiet in your screams.”

Blanche could be saying she can’t stay silent during her beloved’s pain…or maybe she’s saying she refuses to stay quiet during his aggressive rant. The official music video will provide clarification whenever it drops.

“Soon” lyrics — Blanche

What a beautiful lie

To be quiet in your screams

You belong to the night

Of a terrible dream

Soon I will fall on you

Soon I will get into

In a mess of light

Of a thousand recalls

You belong to the night

In a body of snow

Soon I will fall on you

Soon I will get into

Blanche didn t deserved to be in final , with a not good sang in semi final . She also didnt sang good in final, and she was one of most overrated in points by televote in juries both in semi final and final, and didnt deserved 4 th place in final. Song deserved to be winner and with much better singer last year Belgium would be in TOP 2 or even betting Salvador in points by televote.

And France should not have won the World Cup football semi final in Russia because Belgium was the real winner of the worldcup. It’s your opinion but learn to live with reality?
