At a certain temperature caramel just has to melt. And after watching Greek superstar Eleni Foureira in her hot music video for “Caramela”, we’re fairly certain girl is in a puddle.

The music video gives us intense summer feels. Bathed in sweat and decidedly camp, Miss Foureira seems to wink at us as she serves a totally OTT take on a beach party. It gives you everything you’ve dreamed of, starting with a shirtless man marooned on a beach who is waiting for Eleni, who arrives on a military escort boat. She serves face and body, slipping into a white skirt and bikini top that shows off her many assets.

She spins, she twerks, she dips — and with a whole sea of characters including a chef, soldiers and anonymous party-goers. Just sit back and watch her do her thing. You’ll need to conserve your energy – and maybe remove some clothes — because the temperature is definitely rising.

Sung in Greek, the track showcases Eleni’s sizzling vocals, which fit perfectly with the upbeat melody. Even if you don’t speak the language, you’ll feel the passion that underscores the tune. Written by Foureira and Sophia Papavassiliou, the song translates well to the music video, which was directed by Pierros Andrakakos.

Eleni hasn’t just been busy planning this video. She’s also been busy raising funds to help support the victims of Greece’s worst wildfire in recent memory, which has taken the lives of nearly 100 people and caused immense destruction to an entire region.

Proving once again that her heart is as big as her personality, Eleni donated all of the proceeds from three of her recent concerts to relief efforts.

About Caramela

Earlier this summer the Albanian-born stunner announced a collaboration was in the works with Doron Medalie, the man who wrote “Toy”, the only song that burned brighter than “Fuego” with the European public at Eurovision.

“Caramela” has a distinctly Latin feel and has trademark Foureira written all over it. The song may have originally been released in Israel last year by Moshe but Eleni’s version has a unique feel. It may not be the pop banger that “Fuego” fans are looking for but the Iberian flavour is nothing new for Eleni. After all, she released “Fuego” in Spanish.

She has amazing hits such as Ti Koitas, Vassilisa and some others that she could re-record now that she’s a name in Europe.
