Eurostarz Concert London 2018

UK Eurovision fans can say goodbye to their post-Eurovision depression. That’s because Eurostarz is putting up another Eurovision party on Saturday 18th of August at the Water Rats in London’s Kings Cross. There’ll be an exciting lineup of Eurovision stars and a cracking DJ to spin decades of Eurovision floor-fillers way past midnight.

The team from wiwibloggs will be at the party to celebrate with the roster of star studded acts. Included in this year’s lineup is Eurovision 1992 winner Linda Martin. She is no stranger to controversy, and we will be on standby to catch up with her on her thoughts on Eurovision 2018.

The double delight from Romania — Paula Seling & Ovi who represented Romania in 2010 and 2014 will bring their chemistry and sass to this gig. The two of them know how to feed off Eurovision audiences. What’s more? They both have accomplished music careers as solo stars back in their native country. Expect a few surprises.

Esther Hart represented The Netherlands in 2003 with “One More Night” , and she’s ready to make her Eurostarz appearance a night to remember. Will you be there to dance with her? We will.

Rounding up the roster are UK veterans Lindsay Dracass — who sang “No Dream Impossible” in 2001 — and Scott Fitzgerald — who famously lost out by just one point to Celine Dion in 1988.  Both stars will be on board to celebrate the Eurovision spirit and to belt out their hit tunes.

The organisers have promised that the third installment of Eurostarz will build on the momentum that started in 2016. Past performers have included Valentina Monetta, Emmelie de Forrest, Anne Marie David and MIHAI. Speaking exclusively to wiwibloggs, the event promoter Micheal Woodhead says:

“EuroStarz began in 2016, sparked by an idea to bring a little bit of Eurovision magic to us all after the main season finishes in May. We wanted to do something to fill the gap between the end of the contest and the winter months when the national country selections begin again, and help us all relive our favourite moments of Eurovision.

Our aim is to showcase some of your favourite artists from the main contest and national selections, giving you the chance to enjoy their performances live, in a one off show filled with music, fun and Eurovision charm!”

However, the fun doesn’t stop with the live acts. There is a  DJ playing all your favourite Eurovision hits from 10.30pm until 1am.  To purchase tickets, you can do so on: http://buytickets.at/eurostarz/181790/r/bl18g

But hurry, you don’t want to miss out!

Wow @ Lindsay Dracass. Literally heard nothing from her since she did Eurovision.

Great guests! And Scott Fitzgerald is such a legend! I’m tempted to fly over from Ireland to our neighbor country 🙂
