Ryan O’Shaughnessy — Ireland’s Eurovision 2018 singer — will bring the country “Together” this autumn with his new nationwide tour “Civil War”. It takes its name from his forthcoming single.

The Rush-born star is looking to make shockwaves through Ireland by performing songs from his new
album and also singing his well-known track “No Name” and his Eurovision Top 20 single

Announcing the news on Instagram earlier this week, he confirmed nine dates with more in the pipeline.

Since the success of taking Ireland back to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, Ryan has been
going from strength to strength. Buoyed by his respectable 16th place finish, he played Dublin Pride, which boasted an impressive 60,000 people in attendance.

Following that triumph, Ryan — who has a girlfriend — will visit every major city in Ireland with his “Civil War” tour. The title may hint at discord, but he’ll definitely be bringing fans together with his series of concerts, which run from September to December. Starting off in Wexford, he’ll make his way to Co. Mayo via Limerick, Cork and more.

Ryan at the RTE Eurovision Forum

On August 3 Ryan spoke at the RTE Eurovision Forum — an event organised by the country’s Head of Delegation. Afterwards he caught up with wiwiblogger William inside one of the broadcaster’s hallways.

Ryan suggested that there might be more activity with his tour in Europe.

“I have a song called Civil War and I feel it is the right time to be releasing it and I am going to be
doing that very soon,” he said.

“I’m going to be hitting up all of the major cities in Ireland and hopefully then we will be bringing it
on the road — maybe bringing it to Europe.”

Ryan hinted that London could be on the cards.

The future is looking bright for the 25-year-old. Keep an eye out for extra dates to be added soon. You can buy tickets for Ryan’s tour at www.RyanOs.com.
