Israel’s Netta and Cyprus’ Eleni Foureira may have been the leading ladies of Eurovision 2018 but there was plenty of male talent on show as well. The men brought a lot to the contest in 2018. Germany’s Michael Schulte carried emotion and a gorgeous red mane, Czech Republic’s Mikolas Josef oozed sex appeal while shaking his hips and Hungary’s AWS showed off their wild side with barefooted runs and a whole lot of musical shouting.
But what do all of them share? A desire to turn their 15 minutes of Eurovision fame into a sustainable and long-lasting career. Our annual search for Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model honours those with the biggest chance to keep the Eurovision glory alive long after the contest fades. That’s one reason we’re staging this in mid-October!
Israel are the defending champions of ENTMM — the premiere online modelling contest for the men of Eurovision — with Imri Ziv taking home the honour in 2017. However, they won’t be defending that title, as they sent a woman in 2018 (and snatched the overall Eurovision crown in the process).
So, before we all dive head first into national finals season ahead of Eurovision 2019, we need your help to decide who has the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent to succeed as an international superstar moving forward.
Below you can check out the artists’ modelling portfolios. But remember: beauty isn’t just about the physical. It’s also about how an entertainer entertains and their ability to engage people in conversation. With that in mind, be sure to consult our Eurovision 2018 interview playlist — also pasted below — before you make your final decision.
You have until November 9 to cast your votes. You can vote for as many artists as you like but you can only vote once so make your vote count!
