Everyone grab the moment, ‘cos JOWST has released his latest track ‘Roller Coaster Ride‘!
The song is upbeat and VERY 2018, with vocals from Manel Navarro as well as The Voice Norway 2017 alum Maria Celin. The track focuses on themes of the highs and lows of a given situation. JOWST himself hinted that it is about Eurovision in particular. Speaking exclusively to Wiwibloggs, he said:
“It is about my life at the time [during pre-season]. I used to not be on stage, and never was as JOWST before the national final, where I had like my first show ever for 1,200,000 people. A few weeks after getting a child. And went on the promo tour before Eurovision, and then did Eurovision where we felt almost like Justin Bieber would some times. After that we went on tour in Norway, played the biggest scenes, and went played with Sunstroke Project in Moldova, and had all these interviews. Between these things we had like the normal life as well. Changing diapers and walking my dog.”

Riding the wave…
It seems balancing normal life with sudden fame (especially in our fandom, we can be intense, eh?) was a crazy ride, and the new single is embracing that wave of emotion. JOWST’s video clip has simple shots of a literal roller coaster rides inter-mixed with cityscape shots, with the lyrics flying past in a Snapchat-style.

The release comes after the news that his Eurovision submissions were not accepted by the UK delegation for Eurovision 2019. And given the quality on show, it raises further questions about the wackadoodle happenings inside the BBC.

Given your track record on here you find everything remotely male and alive sexy, but on this one, I can actually agree with you. Norwegians are very sexy. Unfortunately, his display of neediness has become a big turn-off, though.
