Back in May, Barei announced the joyful news that she was pregnant — with twins. Finally, seven months later, she has given birth to her babies, India and León. But not only that, Spain’s Eurovision 2016 singer has released a new music video, filmed during her pregnancy.
Barei shared the happy news with her fans on social media, writing that she’s “Never felt such a true love.” She also had lovely words for her boyfriend (and “Say Yay” co-writer) Rubén Villanueva, saying “Thank you for living with me the best adventure of my life.” Awwww…
While being pregnant with twins had required Barei to take a step back from her live music commitments, she kept on creating. As soon as her babies were born, Barei showed fans what she had been keeping busy with, releasing the music video for her song “Bitter Cold”.
The video features a pregnant Barei, with touching scenes of the mother-to-be bonding with her bump. In a Facebook post, Barei described the video as “the most beautiful and intimate video clip that I have ever done”. The video also marked the announcement of her babies’ names, with a postscript introducing India and León.
But the “Bitter Cold” video isn’t the first time that Barei’s bump has been on display. During her pregnancy, Barei posted videos to social media, embracing her bumpalicious shape with fun dances.
Just before she was due to give birth, Barei uploaded a video of her dancing to Rudimental’s “These Days”, proving that it’s still possible to do the “Say Yay” shuffle when nine months pregnant with twins.

Barei’s baby bump ballet also became a meme, when it was used in a video by popular YouTubers Joey Graceffa and Miranda Sings.
