Tomorrow night the Gala Eurovision of Spain’s talent show Operación Triunfo will take place.

There the ten competing acts will perform their entries and one will be chosen by the public televote to sing for Spain at Eurovision.

You can follow the exciting final showdown exclusively on RTVE starting at 22.05 CET.

But ahead of the show, who do you think should represent Spain in Israel this May? Earlier we asked wiwibloggs readers who they wanted to win the Gala Eurovision.

While ten acts will compete, only one can take the trip to Tel Aviv. And the poll results are now in!

Your favorite act is María with her uptempo track “Muérdeme”. With a total of 1,054 votes and 33.27% respectively, you’ve put her on top!

Finishing in second place is Miki’s “La venda”. The song received 656 votes putting him slightly behind with 20.71% of all votes cast.

Coming third — once again — is Miki. His duet “Nadie se salva” with Natalia caught your attention and spawned a total of 302 votes or 9.53%.

Rounding out the top ten are Julia and Carlos Right. Unfortunately, their songs didn’t manage to get as many votes, putting them in the bottom two spots.

However, everything will come down to the live performance and everything can change. As we’ve seen in the past, a great studio track might not evoke the same reaction during the actual performance.

Who should win Operación Triunfo’s Gala Eurovision?

  1. María – “Muérdeme” 33.27% (1,054 votes)
  2. Miki – “La venda” 20.71% (656 votes)
  3. Miki & Natalia – “Nadie se salva” 9.53% (302 votes)
  4. Noelia – “Hoy vuelvo a reír otra vez” 8.11% (257 votes)
  5. Sabela – “Hoy soñare” 7.29% (231 votes)
  6. Natalia– “La clave” 6.88% (218 votes)
  7. Famous – “No puedo más” 5.21% (165 votes)
  8. Marilia – “Todo bien” 4.86% (154 votes)
  9. Carlos Right – “Se te nota” 2.34OperaMar% (74 votes)
  10. Julia – “Qué quieres que haga” 1.80% (57 votes)

The best choice for Spain would be LA VENDA of course !!! It’s a great banger that we like to see from our spanish friends.
Muerdeme is not bad , but La venda is the best among all

The irony is that she doesn’t really like Israel… but could easily pass as one LOL

“My name is Moran Korem, 26, Ramat Gan, am learning Law in Tel Aviv university”. just imagine her saying that with Israeli accent and it all fits together,

I neither like her nor her song. She keeps disrespecting the contest, the fans and the songwriters of “Muerdeme”. My favorites are Miki and Famous. But at this point #anyonebutMaria

This is a poll regarding snippets. You should have a flash poll from today to tomorrow about the ACTUAL songs. As you see, a lot has changed since.

It’s one of those songs that initially sounds fun, but will become incredible annoying after gazillion repetitions and rehearsals. Imagine having “Tico Tico” on constant repeat!

I like her song, but I hate HER. Her attitude is just terrible. She literally asks her fans to vote for Miki. I just hope that Spanish ppl will take her spoiled self into consideration before voting. I don’t think she deserves to be a representative of any nation.

WOW! That is so disrespectful towards the songwriters of her song. She’s just ignoring them. 😮

lol really? She’s your fave? Ain’t she the one who doesn’t want to go or do I have it wrong? I do think it would be fun to send someone who doesn’t want to. Probably won’t go over well with a fan community legendary for its’ lack of humor, but all the more fun to watch. 😀

Of course I’m rooting for María, but somehow I do have the feeling that someone irrelevant will win it all. I would be happy with both María and Miki, but let’s see..

You wrote “Operacion Trifuno” all over the article, Florian. This is really cute, but I think you wanna correct it 🙂

She’ll mess up her live performance on purpose, so someone else will win instead of her!

I hope. But knowing some of these spainish fans who are obsessed with this song winning will probably still vote for her no matter how bad the performance is.

Well, that’s Spain’s choice if they want to end up in the bottom 5 yet again!

True. If someone else will win, it will be clear to say she was robbed by no one but herself (And also like that she doesn’t want to go to Israel [And the Spanish people angry about her because of that] – for sure, it won’t be a big loss)
