Eleni Foureira’s new music video for “Triumph” has FINALLY dropped, and we. are. speechless. Released in partnership with lingerie company Triumph, Eleni and her #girlboss crew take the streets of Athens by storm. They attract all the attention as they swan about the city’s fanciest streets, hotels, and rooftop bars.

She’s been teasing us for weeks, hinting at her latest project with the hashtag #togetherwetriumph. From flaunting her flexibility and trademark ‘hairography’ in sunset Insta posts, to showing her business side in chequered, grey suits (though with a touch of Eleni sexiness, sporting a pretty bra instead of a shirt), we’ve been losing our minds waiting to hear what the Greek goddess was going to bestow upon us next.

#togetherwetriumph TOMORROW!!!

You do you, girl!

Written with songwriter and producer Alex Leon (who collaborated with Eleni back in 2013 on an English-language song called ‘To Deserve You’), ‘Triumph’ is an uptempo dance track. It’s a banger perfect for clubs all over Europe, with its thumping beats and catchy chorus. Better still, the lyrics are all in English, giving the song even greater potential for international success. In the same vein as Eleni’s other empowering lyrics, ‘Triumph’ encourages everyone — from beauty queens to “in-betweens” — to just OWN IT and live life like it’s “a holiday”. We’re sure it will have you getting those dancing shoes on and brushing off your worries, because as Eleni says, “it ain’t your problem anyway”.

The music video, directed by award-winner Giannis Dimolitsas, sees a group of women absolutely bossing it at life. You can find them cruising through Athens at night in a taxi, and just having fun together in the club, but either way you’ll want to be a part of Eleni’s entourage. Naturally, she and all her girls are all showcasing a variety of Triumph products — including that GORGEOUS grey brassiere — which you can totally buy if you want to steal Eleni’s style. You can’t miss the not-so-subtle Triumph advertising.

Eleni is famously good to her fans, so the new clip features a lucky competition winner. Last year, Eleni and Triumph released a campaign asking women to devote the new song to another woman that has inspired them — and one fabulous winner would get to be part of the music video. We aren’t sure which one the lucky lady is, but they all look like they’re having the time of their life, so we hope it was great fun.

So what can we expect from Eleni next? If her ‘Triumph’ launch party and sneak preview are anything to go by, she’s cooked up some spicy new choreography for us to look out for, as well as some HOT pink new outfits.

We’re also secretly hoping Eleni will release her own lingerie range soon, so we can hope to look just as sexy as she is, but that seems a long way off…

This is truly awful. If this were what she entered last year we wouldn’t remember her today

Off-topic: Wiwibloggs is constantly deleting one simple and harmless question in the comment section of the article on Saara Aalto, which is not offensive nor contains inapropriate language. Can you stop that, please?

I love her and she deserves every inch of success she gets, but this song is just not the tea. It doesn’t sound like her at all, I miss her Greekpop bops, or even the Latinpop ones like Tómame.

Cute bop, it serves its purposes as a promo song for the Triumph company. Eleni keep getting them cheques and offers, good for her.

I really want to see her shine, i think she has a lot of potential in latin countries.

I hope we see her in Melodifestivalen as a guest performer or even in the Norwegian final too as Fuego was a hit there.

Apart from collaborating with Foureira in 2013, Alex Leon was also a canditate in the national final of Greece in 2013 together with Georgina with the song Angel. I think this should be mentioned as well.

Another banger by the woman who reinvented ethnic pop in eurovision. She took an average song and became from an underdog a favorite in just few days. Whether you like her or not, she is amazing on what she does.

Reinvented?
Fuego is amazing and so is Eleni but she didn’t reinvent it
