When the Eurovision host country is a bit too far and/or pricey, the Swedish OGAE reports there is bigger interest for Eurovision fans to come to Stockholm for the finale of Melodifestivalen. It becomes a more affordable version of Eurovision for countless fans. This year is no different. With ESC tickets in Tel Aviv being just a tad pricier than usual, a lot of fans out there will be looking for other ways to get their Eurovision fix.
This has inspired the Swedish OGAE fan club together with Stockholm gay club promoters Peter & Erik to put together a not-to-miss party for any fans going to the Melfest final. The line up will include ESC artists and fan favourites from various National Finals past.
“We know the Melodifestivalen finale is very popular with international fans — we get many requests from other OGAE clubs to help secure fan tickets for the show, but we want to do a party with a unique line up for everyone coming. We want to offer a taste of Eurovision for those who may not be able to go to Tel Aviv later this year.”
It’s all going down on Friday March 8 from 23:00 inside Estelle.

DJ Ronny from QX will be spinning the best MelFest and ESC hits of past and present, and like any good Eurovision party, this will go late — til 5AM!!! We will have exclusive access to the full party to bring you all the news and happenings as a part of our MelFest 2019 finale week coverage.
Different ticket packages are available including early entry with Meet & Greet for some of the artists, and all are likely to go fast.

If the tickets are sold out, don’t worry. There will be general entrance to the party at the door after the show ends around 00.30 on a first come first serve basis.
