Eurovision 2019 All 41 final

Israel’s Netta sang (and clucked) her way to victory last year in Lisbon and now it’s time to choose her successor. The bookies have their favourites—you can check out the latest odds here—but who do you want to see walk away with the microphone-shaped trophy at Eurovision 2019?

Can Kobi Marimi do the double for Israel? Will the Netherland’s Duncan Laurence live up to the hype? Is John Lundvik on the verge of bringing Sweden its seventh victory (and thus matching Ireland in the all-time stakes)? Can Russia’s Sergey Lazarev pull a Dima Bilan and win on his second attempt? Or will could we have a first time victory from Cyprus, Iceland or Malta?

We’ve got a lot of questions, and we need y’all to help give us some answers.

You can listen to all 41 Eurovision songs below. Then vote in our poll. You can vote for as many contestants as you like, but you can only vote ONE time. Be sure to check the box next to every act you want to support before submitting your votes. Voting ends just before rehearsals kick off in May.

Forty-one songs. Forty-one countries. One winner. Who will win Eurovision 2019? Who should win Eurovision 2019? Start voting now!

Who should win Eurovision 2019? Vote now!

This year Cyprus has the best song, but probably Sweden will win (also very good song, but more voters). And I dont know why everybody talk against Croatia, this song is also good, but leave the wings at home please.

Fact that Croats are against Roko’s song is really weird and funny because he got the highest score from televoting on Dora. So why they did that!!? ?

Croats always talk againts each other. I think that A lot of people dont like wings and english words in song. Also why they didnt make video? This live version from Dora is bad.

This Arcade is nothing special to me, just normal pop song. But if I must choose between horrible Italy, awful Russia and Arcade, then Netherland will win with this not special, not interesting song.
Countries like Albania or San Marino dont have chance to win but have more quality songs.

Albania song is “good”. She has an incredible voice but the song per si it’s something already ehard. It’s quite generic. San Marino is just 2003…

Dd7

Lol, how can you you say ” generic” to Albanian song ? Do you know the meaning of “generic” ? And tell me a similar song to this year’s Albanian song since it is already heard.

Kaiser

Excuse me.. are you deaf? I challenge you to tell us which is the song Albania has “copied” and that is so generic. and if your answer is jamala. You honestly need to shut up

Mat

Let me tell you something no matter the formal placing will be. For me an entry such as the portuguese one already won the whole competition. Conan’s performance gives at least me the hope that human imagination can still surprise and amaze us. Among all the plastic songs this one really stands out and for that it has my respect and admiration. Hypnotic song by the way,
Portugal winner without any doubt

Angry

This is not art ,this is just horrible song and only because it is from Portugal is favourite, if for example Albania will have song like this it will be on the last place.

Anael
Guest
Anael

Just because you don’t like or sound’s horrible to you doensn’t mean this is no art. Can you explain? As you don’t get it, there are so many getting it and more each day because this is a touching and deep song growing on each one. Don’t be jealous of Portugal

MMr
Guest
MMr

That’s not true at all…Portugal has only been a favourite since it won (which was 2 years ago) and many people are still salty. Portugal is nowhere a favourite. The song is indeed different and special.

When you think there isn’t a decent song to win the whole thing, countries start to release some quite good entries. Especially the last week before the delegations meeting, I heard really good songs.
There is a strong competition as always but it’s not clear to me yet as to who will win. We have to wait for the rehearsals to start. As for now, the Netherlands have the whole package, a quality song, a meaning, a talented artist, they only need a good staging!

I have only listend for the songs since last saturday when the melfest was over. There are soo many good songs this year. : ) Love the Nederlands, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Sanmarino, Russia, Switzerland … and so on. I can not chose but if I have to it’s between the Netherlands and Hungary. Right now, but that will probably change. Will have many nice ESC moments whith my esc-brainwashed ten year old daughter until ESC in may. <3 We will listen and compare different songs, change our opinions etc. It’s so fun to share this with her, and… Read more »

For me personally, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Sweden and The Netherlands are the standout entries. Italy has this very high quality production, it has a Drake vibe melded with authentic ethnic homage to Mahmood’s life story and his Egyptian/ Italian roots. Switzerland was totally unexpected with Luca’s song, its so ‘now’ with its ‘Despacito meets Havana meets 21st century Ricky Martin’ vibes, it will come alive on the night and will probably be top 4, maybe top 3 even. Portugal is just so authentic to Conan and will stand out so much, it transcends so that even hardened pop lovers can… Read more »

Agree whith the Netherlands. First time I heard it I was watching the live performance. If there are any fans of Loren’s album HEAL. Is there anyone else than me that feel that this song somehove should fit that album. I love his emotion when he sings, and I have Loren’s voise in my head at the same time.

Glad you like Sweden. <3 Itally is good too. : )

Literally cannot understand the dislike and lower expectations of Sweden, the song is genuinely lovely, with great vocals, and one that I come back to often. It has this classic old school RnB vibe, a bit like melding Labrynth with John Legend. I feel a lot of people just slag Sweden off because for years they’ve been put on a pedestal.

5 songs this year I’ve rated above an 8.5
I’d hope all of them reach the final and one of them win :
Greece
Norway
Malta
Switzerland
Belgium

Then there are songs on 8
I wouldn’t be disappointed with them winning but wouldn’t be saddened if they didn’t do very well:
Slovenia
Cyprus
Iceland
Australia
Netherlands
Ireland

Also, are there some memorable examples of:
1. Songs really appreciated by the bookies and fandom but flopped in the show?
2. Songs existed under the radar but shined through the competition?
I already had some in mind but I want to know if you guys also thought about those songs. Peace~

I’ve been hyped with the ESC since 2015 and I can bring you TONS of examples on your 2 questions (when it comes to the fandom, can’t say about the bookies). 1) 2015: Malta, FYR Macedonia, Belarus, Ireland, Iceland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Spain and Germany and somehow Albania (she didn’t exactly ‘flop’ but she was a hot favourite for the top 5 and she barely qualified and finished 17th.| 2016: Iceland, Estonia, Spain, Czech Republic (the country’s first qualification ever but… her position in the final…), somehow Germany and Croatia (they were expected to finish in the top… Read more »

Some entries that come to mind:
– Amaury Vassili (France, 2011) and Xandee (Bel, 2004) were big favourites going into the final but flopped.
– Raphael Gualazzi (Italy, 2011) and Cesar Sampson (Austria, 2018) achieved top results that few people had foreseen before the very final (both elevated by the jury votes)
– Some big surprise non qualifiers were Selma (Iceland, 2005) and Kate Ryan (Belgium, 2006)

Goes back a-ways. Last time Eurovision was in Israel, Cyprus was one of the heavy favorites. They came second-to-last and only the UK voted for it.

Plenty of winners went completely undetected by the bookies too. Herrey’s, Toto Cutugno, Paul and Charlie, the Olsen Brothers, and pretty much all the winners through about 2003 were considered dark horse champions.

Loin dici

The songs are amazing. They’re not really standouts, but there’s not one terribly bad either, and the variation of genres we have is also in par with Lisbon’18, which is quite various. I’d say let’s wait for the show in May, because it’ll be hard to judge these since it also depends on the staging.

Not a single song this year has winning vibes . . I’ve never been so disappointed with the songs, I mean, to be honest, noone out of 41 participants deserve to win (in my opinion). Russia – I like this song much better than his 2016 entry (actually, I strongly disliked the song back then), but still… Something lacks and, in my opinion, of course, Segey is not sincere. The Netherlands – I like the guy – humbleness, bright character, almost impeccable (provisionaly, Idk how it’s going to pan out at the contest in May) but the song …. meeh… Read more »

It’s hilarious how people think that whatever crap Sweden is sending, it has a chance to win.
This song is outdated, dreadful and so boooooring. Just good enough for a gospeltour when you visit Harlem, NewYork. Sweden is just the teacher’s pet but luckily and deservingly punished by the public last year. Hope it will happen this year again.
And please no I’m not a Sweden-hater; ABBA is one of my all time favourites and I rooted for Euphoria and Heroes big time, as this were to me deserving winners.

If Israel is not top 10 this year so I don’t know how it has been before…kobi is a singer we don’t see anymore…he will be discovered in the final, only then the majority of people will understand who he is….no one this year comes close to serve a text in his singing like kobi…with all the respect and there is respect…kobi is a singer in different league in my opinion… no one can do that: https://youtu.be/9ZKNVirQ3Ls
