Here we are again. Another Eurovision season and another group of hopeful male solo performers to choose from. Happy days.
Last year we had 14 male solo acts, a record breaking number of male soloists. But this year the guys are taking things even higher. There are a whopping 19 male hopefuls standing on their own two feet and hoping to defend their country’s honour by performing solo on stage. After long consideration I decided to include Finland’s Sebastian Rejman in this poll, because even though Darude is the brain behind “Look Away” it is Sebastian’s vocals that will carry the song. He deserves a place in the poll.
So here we go. 19 singers sans uterus. 19 solo acts from Azerbaijan to UK. From ballads to cheeky Latino pop. The male class of 2019 is offering us everything. But who is your favourite?

Michael Rice is by FAR the best make vocal he can really sing, the song is excellent and is the best shot for a UK top 10 in recent years.

They all bring something different to the table. My favourites are:
Kobi – Most emotive vocal.
Duncan – Most musical artist.
Sergey – Most charismatic performer, and most consistent performer.
Conan – Most original artist, and most unpredictable performer.
Mahmood – Most likely to get a Grammy, or other prestigious music award. Also, he’s the most “current” artist.
I could go on… I’m a personal fan of John Lundvik of course; he’s so good. I could also say the same of Joci and of course Serhat. 🙂

OK so I’m biased but San Marino before Michael Rice…. Come on get real. I’m not saying that our song is good… Far from it. To put some of these singers above ours is just plain ridiculous.

Omg, Finland has a project, so it must be in category of groups. Many groups has only one singer, will you modify them to solo acts too? You made bad decision, how many groups will stay in their category? Sweden has solo male singer, but four women sing with him during the whole song. Why isnt Sweden in groups category? Esc Radio will include Finland in group category, you should make it too.

He is really the best live performer from all of them. The voice is deep and unique. Second in my opinion is Mahmood same unique !

Just saw some online published live footages of Eliot Belgium. I think thats not very good and i got Blanche 2017 vibes, she finished 4th tho in the Finals that year!! he is only 18 yo and lacks stage charisma. i hope the belgium team will fixx that with a profound staging!!?

Interestingly, this year is dominated by quality male acts. I voted for Duncan, Victor and Mahmood, but many of them are absolutely great!

Italy, portugal and the netherlands is my top 3 for this year. I’m very curious for conans staging. I hope they polish the performance a bit.

Based on the whole package it is Duncan and Mahmood. Sergey is amazing as well, but song is so so.
My third choice would be in between Switzerland and Azerabajian.
