We love female empowerment.
And while our favourite non-biological S!sters may have only met a few months ago, their bond is as strong as it could ever be.
And this weekend, Carlotta and Laurita, performed at Eurovision in Concert and we chatted with them about their song, their bond and the staging in Tel Aviv.
S!sters interview – Eurovision in Concert 2019
The S!sters barely met four months ago. But when asked if their voices are working to become one, Laurita explains: “I heard Carlotta sing before and I knew that our voices didn’t have to grow together, because it’s like, perfect to my voice”. Carlotta adds: “Laurita has such a warm voice, so deep: the foundation”. Laurita finishes: “And Carlotta brings all the energy!”
The message of the song is clear: women need to stop the drama and just get along. It’s something that women have all experienced. “We want to be the women who will help other women grow”. Carlotta adds: “It’s always been a really, really important thing to do, to be nice to everybody and help each other out. That’s why it’s so great that we have this song together”.
“Sister” – S!sters live at Eurovision in Concert
The two bubbly ladies can’t give away anything about their staging for Tel Aviv. Will the girls bring the rotating table to Tel Aviv? Who knows. Will Carlotta wear her famous leather pants for the big finale? We just have to wait and see.

If they can make a difference with their song, thanks and good for them. But the issue is deep, expansive, and real. Even the writer – Laural? said something along the lines (in an interview with Wiwibloggs) – I grew up with three or four? sisters, there were issues. I know the case of other women who grew up with several sisters, all of them had problems, the youngest and brightest being gang up by the other sisters, envy for clothes, grades etc. I don’t want to judge, but what are the parents doing? How about the schools and the… Read more »
If they want to be sisters, you are nobody to tell otherwise.
Love those girls, I like their song more and more.
I want them so much to do well. Song : unpretentious, non-political, non sexual. Go S!sters!
aw so cute, good luck Sisters
They help other women in this year’s Eurovision by preventing them from ending up in the bottom.
Why so?
hahaha
Just women?
They should start by having at least chemistry on stage. Then, they can inspire other women,,,,
They don’t need chemistry, they are supposed to be two random girls.
they arent. good luck avoiding last place
