In his Eurovision 2019 song “She Got Me”, Luca Hänni is gettin’, gettin’ rowdy. And now he’s released a dance tutorial so that you can get rowdy with him.

The one-minute clip is a reminder that you really have to put all of yourself into your art. From legs to shoulders, and from arm to arm, you’ve got to work every inch of your body to if you want to come close to Luca’s example.

In Step 1 the right leg jerks up while the left leg sort of stomps. While all that’s happening you need to throw your shoulders back. At the same time those arms need to jerk left, jerk right and then clap before you thrust them down. You follow that?

In Step 2 the arms snap in and out while the legs twist.Put it all together and #YouGotLuca.

We advice you to stretch before attempting any of this. And be sure you’re standing on a dry surface.

Luca Hänni: Private dance tutorial in Amsterdam

Luca, of course, won Germany’s Dance Dance Dance and has graced some of the biggest stages in Europe. I have not. But Luca kindly offered to give me a private dance tutorial anyway.

As you can see below Luca handles the back and forth like a total pro, whereas I almost end up in the canal. How Luca kept his smile and good humour is beyond me!

Have you given Luca’s dance tutorial a go? Did the moves come easy? Let us know down below!

It’s so cringeworthy though! Please don’t bring this dance to Tel Aviv

It’s just a jump to the left
And then a step to the right
With your hands on your hips
You bring your knees in tight
But it’s the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insane

Let’s do the Time Warp again

I think Luca Hänni should use a headset microphone instead of a regular microphone so he can do his choreography without the awkward hindrance of holding a microphone.

No, holding a microphone is an excuse to make less movements, like Eleni Foureira, it’s a good idea, I think, personnally.

I don’t know if it’s the choreo or him, but I find this dance quite cringeworthy 🙁

This dance was not in the music video so i assume it’ll be the official dance he does in tel aviv during the chorus.
