He is one of the biggest French newcomers of the year. With the double-single release in March, Bilal Hassani gave fans more material. And now, he’s dropped the music video for “Fais Beleck”.
With a big tour all over France later this year, Bilal has lots of things coming up for him. And in all of that, he’s also preparing for Eurovision! In addition to that, the album titled “Kingdom” is set to be released on April 26. The hype gets real as Bilal started revealing track titles on Instagram.
The song received positive comments from fans and critics. As we’ve written in our article, the self-empowering anthem draws inspiration from a previous relationship. Unfortunately, the person involved didn’t appreciate Bilal as he was.
Sonically, the track combines electronic pop elements mixed with Bilal’s R&B vocal styles. He’s older and wiser and consequently doesn’t have the time for someone who doesn’t appreciate him. Time to move on!
In the music video, Bilal plays with different colour schemes. The video editing helps create a unique aura. When the chorus kicks in, he’s doing an intense choreography. If that’s any indication of what’s to come in Tel Aviv, he’s going to surprise many people!
Besides, one can also see that all dancers in the video embody him, which underlines the empowering message of “Fais Beleck”. Despite all the preparations for Eurovision, Bilal manages to showcase a new side with this video. Shout out to Warren Kayish for the amazing choreography!

Bilal is so talented. Loving his style, music and moves. Not a huge fan of Roi but I’m loving seeing this young artist build the foundations of a strong career. Amazing.
Slay King!
Not at all ? It would be more like epic ? Didn’t you hear the snippets ?
That’s so much better than Roi. I can still see why Roi was more strategically placed for ESC, but I prefer this one – the staging could have been very Arabic/ Persian or modern/contemporary.
I like this more than Roi tbh
This is a great song but it’s better for Bilal to send Roi to Eurovision. I think “Fais Beleck” would have been considered more as a joke entry. It reminds me a bit of Montenegro Slavko
Would EBU be fine, if we just swapped “Roi” with “Fais Beleck” for his Eurovision entry?
