Is it too late for love? Not if you ask this year’s representative from Sweden. John Lundvik — he with that soulful sound and those stunning backing vocalists — will lead the Scandi charge during the Second Semi-Final on May 16. A bookies’ favourite from the very beginning, he’s ready to slay his way to the final with some glorious staging and plenty of telegenic appeal.

But before he does that the former sprinter will be high-tailing it to the Theatre Club where he’ll be the sun that lights your dark. Yes, shout AMEN and don’t forget to say HALLELUJAH. John Lundvik is the next confirmed artist for the Wiwi Jam!

The Wiwi Jam 2019 at Theatre Club

Yes, we’re back! Our not-to-miss evening of songs, selfies and slayage returns in 2019 at the stunning Theatre Club. The event will take place on Wednesday May 15 from 22:00 and runs until the sun comes up. As in recent years, we’ll have more than a dozen acts keen to celebrate the fandom. We’ll be spinning non-stop Eurovision tracks in between acts.

The Theatre Club is a large dance club and music venue located in Jaffa, just a five-minute walk from Eurovision Village and Charles Clore Park. The historic building served as a theatre in the early 20th century and today welcomes up to 1,500 people for music events and red carpet celebrations. It should look very familiar to our viewers: it served as host venue of Israel Calling 2016 and 2017.

Tickets for the one-night extravaganza cost 20 euros. That’s 15 euros for the ticket + a small booking fee.

This is the Theatre Club during Israel Calling 2016. And yes that is a wiwiblogger singing along to Nadav at the end.

Theatre Club: 7 Days of Music

* The best DJ playing pop and Eurovision hits.

* Live performances from Israeli Eurovision singers (see below).

* Live streaming of the semi finals and final on a big screen, with the best sound system.

Hmh, I wonder how John Lundvik will manage it to be at two different places at the same time? Both events will start at 10 p.m.

Isn’t the wiwijam the same night as the jury show of the second semi-final?

Maybe the jury show will end sooner than Wiwi Jam. Hopefully
