There’s more shuffling around at the top, as four more clubs have revealed their top tens in the OGAE Poll 2019. The fan clubs from Australia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic and Finland have voted, now giving Switzerland a slim one-point lead over Italy.

OGAE Australia was next to reveal their point, with their top three being Italy, the Netherlands and Iceland. Australia’s eight points for Hatari is the largest individual score so far for the award-winning post-Marxist, nihilist, goth cabaret performers. Australia also had one point for Portugal, the fourth lot of points for Conan Osíris.

Also with points was OGAE Cyprus. Their top points went to Switzerland, cultural neighbours Greece, and Switzerland. They also had five points for Spain, where Miki has been hovering just outside the overall top ten.

OGAE Czech Republic gave their top marks to Switzerland, the Netherlands and Italy. The rest of their votes generally follows the same favourites at the top of the overall OGAE Poll results.

OGAE Finland has 12 points for their Scandi neighbour Norway, with Switzerland and Italy rounding out the top three. Finland also threw a kindly three points to San Marino, with Serhat’s message of positivity evidently striking a chord.

On the overall scoreboard Switzerland has slipped into the top position again, with Luca Hänni just one point ahead of Italy’s Mahmood. But expect a big change when OGAE Switzerland reveals their votes. They won’t be able to vote for Luca, so he could potentially drop 12 points behind the leader.

The OGAE Poll is not considered an accurate prediction of Eurovision results. However, it does offer a strong indication of what songs are fan favourites and is good at predicting which songs won’t qualify for the grand final.

I can understand why Denmark and Finland give Norway 12 point. Its Finlands song last year, monster. And Denmarks Barbie girl.

It’s getting more ridiculous by the minute… Switzerland on top and Norway 4th….Only three damn good songs and one okay song in that top 10: Italy, Thé Netherlands, Greece and Azerbeidzjan ( i begin to like this), the rest is just dreadful…

I still think that they are ready to do anything to make this Eurovision spoiled, unfortunately my voice will not get it, they are not, but for me this is a cheap copy of the Lord (Finland), the Lords of Freedom, I would say.

It’s a very radio friendly pop tune with ethno instrumentation. I’m sure it’ll do very well with decent live performance/staging.

Plot twist: Neither Duncan nor Luca nor Mahmood win in May, but a female “underdog contender” will snatch the victory… (Just creatin’ suspense and surprise 😀 )

Honestly, I think the same as well. If you consider Greece an underdog, I mean.

Possible contenders for the win:
– Frontrunners – The Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy
– ”Dark horses” for the win (but almost certain qualifiers) – Greece, Cyprus, Iceland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden
Besides them, I can see UK, Malta or Austria snatching the jury vote (but less likely the televote) and Norway, Albania, Poland, Spain or Australia snatching the televote (but less likely the juries), which would make their victories possible only if the other category is so scattered it doesn’t take away that much.
This year is SO unpredictable and that might be my favorite part!

I really think we’re going to have a 2016 scenario when Country A wins Jury vote, Country B wins Public vote and then Country C comes from behind and snatches the victory.

I don’t think this year is unpredictable at all. It’s exactly like last year and they keep slapping the winner right in our faces all the time just to make sure we vote for who they want us to (see: eurojury). I’m just low-key hoping for an unpredictable turn of events at the very last minute, because it’s been hella boring for at least the whole past month.

UK snatching the jury vote? What are you on?

The way I see it the only countries that can potentially get enough points from both the jury and the televote to win are – the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, and malta.
Sweden, Russia and Switzerland will probably all be top ten, but I really can’t see them getting enough support to actually win.
Plus I have a feeling that Azerbaijan will be top 2 with the juries.

In fact, I do have a feeling that Albania may be successful this year, not necessarily Tirana 2020, but remember Albania was like 37th or something in the odd a few weeks ago? But she is climbing up slowly. It could be like Moldova 2017, or even Austria 2014?

i hope for a wow moment in his staging, so far when listening i didn’t feel anything

maybe if everything comes together that might change i don’t know for sure of course

but if they get staging absolutely right, we are for sure a contender, cuz everyone loves arcade

Because it’s Nicky and yesterday he wrote that the Netherlands shouldn’t win because Duncan has a pitchy voice blabla. The day before that he loved Netherlands again. The day before that he hated it and he doesnt support odds faves, etc.
He is just trolling, that’s why.

i am a huge mess myself i admit, if arcade wasn’t odds fave, no hype then i would totally support the song 100% without moaning, i don’t troll anyway

i like the song, but i hate the hype around it

There is no ‘hype’, just a lot of people liking the song , that’s why the bookmakers give it the highest chance of winning at this stage. You’re the only one posting schizo comments about it and trying to create drama.

Ok, I’m also a big fan of ‘Arcade’. But a bit of realism and modesty (like Duncan) wouldn’t be out of place.

I guess people have downvoted it because it’s assuming a Dutch victory, whereas Italy two years ago was an even bigger hot favourite and then only came 6th (robbed in my opinion!). The reality of Eurovision is you’ll never know what will happen.

It’s not my favourite but I would be happy with a Dutch victory – it’s a good song.
