eurovision 2019 rehearsal schedule

All eyes on Tel Aviv. This weekend, the Eurovision fortnight begins — with delegations, press and fans flocking to Israel for Eurovision 2019. Together, we’ll see who will be the successor to Netta and which song is our next winner.

But before anyone gets their hands on the crystal trophy, all 41 artists will have multiple rehearsals, to ensure their live performances are on point.

And now we know the rehearsal schedule for 2019. Rehearsals will start a day earlier than previous years – with first rehearsals starting on Saturday, May 4. This is to accomodate a day off on May 8, across Israel’s Memorial and Independence Days.

Dress rehearsals, jury rehearsals and the live shows run from the afternoon of May 13 until the grand final on May 18.

Check out the full schedule for each day below. All times are in Israeli local time (i.e. CET+1, GMT+2):

Having university semester finals week the same week as Eurovision feels like being too stressed to enjoy your Christmas because you have a butt ton of shopping to do and also your monster in-laws are coming to visit

Ugh In two years I’m going to do my exams For high school (i’m 15) but I already KNOW it’s going to be in the middle of Eurovision and I’m already annoyed.

Okay, now let’s analyze the rehearsing schedule. Who are winners and who are the losers of this schedule?

Roko and Tamta better go to bed early. Have their two rehearsals at 10am.

I think the Automatic qualifiers are the biggest losers. They have no time to work on their performance really if something goes amiss with the 1st rehearsal

Their rehearsal should have taken place before semi 1 ka second rehearsal

Cyprus , Montenegro , Finland , Croatia , Malta , Lithuanai also are having to wake up early for both their rehearsals…. They also losers

Finger crossed for all of them. Hope it will be as good as esc 2018 at least. I would love if it was as good as in 2016 but it is impossible without Petra :p

The hosting of Esc 2018 was not a good year by any means. Excellent songs. Bad hosters, including the women robots and the country itself.

It will totally be better than 2018

Portugal is wonderful and Lisbon is a great city to visit. Extremely friendly and welcoming, particularly for LGBT people.
