Day two is upon us. Yesterday, we saw the first nine acts of the first semi-final of Eurovision 2019 have their first rehearsals. Today, the remaining eight will complete the line-up with their first rehearsals as well.
And today promises to be staging heavy, with the likes of Australia, Iceland and more. Greece’s Katerine Duska — favourite to win the semi-final with the bookies — also has her first rehearsal.

Whose first rehearsal are you most excited for today? Do you think we’ll be in for any big surprises in staging or performances? Let us know all of your thoughts in the comments down below!
Conan Osiris must win Barbara Dex Award
Portugal must win Barbara Dex Awward
So curious to see Conan! He is such a great artist!
I’m waiting for Iceland, Portugal and Greece.
These are the three countries which I think will do something really creative on stage!
And I also really want Estonia to qualify and I think they will, cause their song has that Avicii style that many people will be looking for to vote. Australia and Belgium are also strong contenders for qualification
I am so excited to see CONAN!!!!
My prerehearsal assessment
Belgium : ?
Georgia : NQ
Australia : Likely
Iceland : ?
Estonia: ?
Portugal : ?
Greece: Sure
San Marino : NQ
My pre-rehearsal expectations:
BELGIUM – NQ
GEORGIA – NQ
AUSTRALIA – Q
ICELAND – Q
ESTONIA – Q
PORTUGAL – hopefully Q
GREECE – Q
SAN MARINO – could go either way
I was quite underwhelmed by yesterday, because no one apart from maybe Belarus and Hungary surprised me, and Montenegro and Finland negatively surprised me. The next 3 days of rehearsals will be much more interesting, I mean today we’ll see Iceland, Australia, Portugal, Greece, San Marino and we’ll see if Belgium will soar into the final or crash in the semi. I can’t wait!
Exciting stuff! Some of my big favourties are here: Iceland, Portugal, Belgium, Greece. And I’m also super curious about Australia.
Come on Belgium – a lot riding on today to see whether you are going to be pushing top 10 or fade into mediocrity- you can do this!
Million dollar question is can we have five countries in a row doing as well to qualify? AUS//ICE//EST//POR//GRE are all my qualifiers and apart from Portugal, betting odds qualifiers too. But I feel like today, after the rehearsal, Portugal might sneak above Belgium because we all know who had better lives thus far.
I am more than ok with Estonia not qualifying!
For me, the rehearsals today are way more interesting than yesterdays were.
Belgium, Iceland, Portugal, Greece, San Marino I‘m looking forward to, I even have an eye on Georgia and Estonia as well (not a fan of Australia tbh)
Can’t wait to see Conan <3
