As the old adage goes – practice makes perfect. From Cyprus, Tamta‘s vocals could finally be heard in the press centre. Poland’s Tulia rolled out the lazy Susan again. And Belarus’ Zena mixed up her outfit with something a little more revealing.
On May 9 of Eurovision 2019 rehearsals, 15 acts took to the stage again. With another chance to tighten up their performances, which of them managed to nail their rehearsal and move towards the Eurovision final?

Belgium-still solid and definitely Alan Walker vibe
Cyprus-disastrous vocal and very disappointing

Georgia-very powerful back vocals and LED screens are won
Hungary-visual effects are so expensive and magical
Iceland-the public in the trance is missing

How can someone vote Cyprus? Vocals were awful, staging is nothing special. And the song is annoying. Not even close to the quality of Fuego.

There were many good performances, but I have to give a special shout out for Georgia. I liked the song from the start. I understand that it may not be very accessible but the performance looks amazing in my opinion. It’s full of emotions, not too aggressive and the choir is amazing. I hope Oto will qualify because he deserves it!

Australia surprised me, Cyprus disappointed.
Australia really turned up for me. I was an Electric Fields fan and I’m willing to admit that I got it completely wrong. In the eternal words of Sir William, Kate was able to take a circus act from the national final and turn it into cirque du soleil. It’s not just her singing on that pole but it’s the video art as well showing her floating in space and transporting the audience away from earth. Most were quite good, but Australia and Iceland were the best! Don’t give in to negativity and listen to all naysayers, cause according to them, there will be more shocking non-qualifiers than the actual semi will have. So, just follow your own instinct and mine tells me we are in for a quite good semi final. Of course, two or three songs have a lot to improve, but most of them did well.
