In the aftermath of last weekend’s grand final, Eurovision 2019 artists have started climbing the charts all over Europe.
Below are just some of the countries that are all aboard this year’s Eurovision ship. Keep in mind, we don’t list every country where an act is charting, nor do we mention every act. Some markets don’t publish any form of singles charts while others only release airplay charts. And then, of course, several charts have yet to be updated for this week.
The Netherlands
The Netherlands boasts three official charts. The Dutch Charts includes physical sales, downloads and streaming, the Dutch Top 40 includes radio airplay and social media trends, and the Mega Top 50 countdown looks at Spotify, downloads and airplay. Unsurprisingly, Duncan Laurence is #1 in all three.

Italy
The country secured its second silver placing of the decade, but the Italian charts are relatively sparse when it comes to Eurovision. After topping the chart for seven weeks following his Sanremo victory in the spring, Mahmood currently sits at #13. However, the “Soldi” singer won’t be too upset — his new single “Calipso” is at #1. Over four months after the final, several Sanremo entries remain inside the top 100.

Switzerland
He secured Switzerland’s best Eurovision result in 26 years, and second-highest placing since Céline Dion’s 1988 victory. And Luca Hänni had been justly rewarded with a #1 in the Swiss charts — his second after his debut single in 2012. Luca’s success appears to have reignited a local love for the contest with four entries cracking the top ten.

Sweden
It’s perhaps the country that’s most obsessed with Eurovision. Back in March, almost all the entries in its national selection graced the charts, so it’s hardly surprising to find no less than ten tracks from Tel Aviv inside Sweden’s top 100. The highest charting is the Netherlands’ Duncan Laurence at #6, while homeboy John Lundvik is at #13 in his 13th week in the chart. “Too Late For Love” previously peaked at #1.

Norway
Norway’s main chart — the VG-Lista — only looks at the top 40 songs. Nonetheless, five of this year’s entries have broken into the countdown. Local heroes and televote toppers KEiiNO lead the way at #1.

In host country Israel it was all about two acts — Mahmood and Duncan Laurence. The winner and first place runner-up make this week’s Media Forest airplay chart top ten for international acts.

Ireland
After scoring Ireland’s worst ever Eurovision result, Sarah McTernan’s “22” misses out on the local charts completely. However, the Irish public are by no means averse to the class of 2019, with four of them cracking the top 100. Duncan Laurence is the most successful, sneaking inside the top 40 at #37.

Germany
The European public didn’t appreciate their Eurovision effort — S!sters got zero points from the televote — but the Germans don’t appear to be taken it personally. Three of this year’s entries make the country’s top 100, with Duncan Laurence leading the way.

Belgium
In Belgium, as per tradition, it appears that the Flemish are the ones most on board with Eurovision. Duncan Laurence is at number #2 on the main chart while four acts make the Ultratip Bubbling Under Chart — the most popular songs that have yet to crack the Top 50 of the Ultratop chart. In Wallonia, only Eliot features in the Ultratop countdown. However, Duncan and Mahmood are bubbling under.

such a shame lithuania, malta and israel don’t have official charts factoring sales and streaming, mahmood has been #1 since the final on spotify in these countries.
And about Spotify Charts Viral 50 Soldi is now first in the Netherlands (!), Spain, Sweden, Lithuania , Greece ecc; second in Uk, France, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, Norway,… Soldi is present is almost all the charts of European countries but also not european (Soldi is 4th in Australia, 18 in Canada….), 81 in global spotify. And in Lithuania there are, in Spotify viral 50, six songs of Mahmood’s album Gioventù bruciata ! It is an incredible success for a song sung in Italian! Soldi already had the peak in Italy because it is the song that won Sanremo festival in february, but it’s going to grow and climb european charts. In italian charts Mahmood is higher with the recent song Calypso and he said he’ll release very soon a new single. How come Chameleon is one of the most streamed songs and then Malta got only 20 points from the public voting?
Loved the song but I dunno vocals weren’t amazing and I don’t think Michela is much of a dancer so it all looked a bit laboured. Plus singing first probably didn’t help her either.

Yes Mahmood loves so much his mother, who for him was a mother and a father and always supported him, also in his passion for music, since he was 12 years old, paying music lessons, accompaning him to lessons almost every day, supporting him in difficult moments… he always thanks her for all she has done. It’s amazing to see that his song has reached an audience here in North America! I can’t wait for the day when his album comes out, because I would love to hear more
Before the show I thought that if Duncan or Mahmood won or score top 2 (which they did) that they would chart all across Europe very well, as Loreen did in 2012.. But unfortunately that didn’t happen, they’ve charted very medicore in my opinion, so I hope next year we have a winner that will chart like Loreen, hell it’s been 8 years since we had a charter like that…:)
What are you talking about? They’re doing really well. Euphoria is a eurodance song in English, of course it charted super well everywhere, it was literally the type of song radios play all the time anyway. This year, while Duncan’s song is in English (which is a huge plus when it comes to charting in other countries), it’s a ballad. Mahmood’s on the other hand isn’t even in English! eh, i guess we’ll have to wait for an ariana grande or post malone wannabe doing eurovision with a song in english in order to have the next euphoria chart wise. this is the current climate of the music industry after all.

wow Irish and UK songs did not enter the Top 100 (main) singles chart, what a disgrace. It shows that people do not give a damn about their own entries and they got no publicity at all. Streaming makes it hard for ESC acts to enter charts and get a high position but they did all well this year. Sisters failed to chart in their own country? WOW!! How come they won the televoting??? RTE done little to no marketing of the Irish entry. Lots of people outside the Eurovision bubble didn’t even know it was on.
I don’t agree with Louis Walsh often, but he was right when he said that if our Eurovision entry didn’t even have success in our own country, how could we even hope to have success abroad and he was absolutely right.
Also the fact that for some odd reason (probably money..it usually is with RTE) we where one of the last songs to be released on streaming apps. Like c’mon…it’s 2019.
