He’s the world-renowned DJ who’s played every corner of this great Earth — including Tel Aviv during the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. And now Finnish superstar Darude — real name Toni-Ville Henrik Virtanen — is warming up his synths and DJ stand for a 15-stop tour across Europe and the United States.

The “Look Away” hitmaker kicks things off on June 1 at the Electronic Festival in Alvkarleby, Sweden before flying across the Atlantic to take in Durham and Charlotte in North Carolina, Scottsdale in Arizona, Columbus in Ohio and St. Louis in Missouri.

Then it’s back to his native Finland for the RMJ festival in Rauma, before bouncing to Weezer in Germany and Tallin in Estonia. There’s more. He’ll rack up a few more air miles as he heads back to the US, where he’ll slay New York, Seattle, Oklahoma City, Jacksonville, and Atlantic City. He wraps it all up in Atlanta, Georgia where, coincidentally, my sister recently heard “Look Away” playing at her local gym. Love it when that happens!

Ahead of Darude’s summer tour, he’s released his new track “Hide” — a collaboration with Audioventura & JVMIE.

It’s already hit the popular Let’s Dance playlist on Spotify. That’s run by Black Hole Recordings and compiles the top tunes in house, trance and progressive in one playlist.

Darude, Audioventura & JVMIE – “Hide”

One listen and you’ll see why it’s there. The club-ready track layers an ethereal-sounding female vocal over Darude’s signature sound and production. It’s got a mystical vibe back by major oopmh — it’s like feeling drowsy at 4am but then snapping back to life with a Red Bull. We are here for this!

Are you going to join Darude in Europe or the US? And are you loving “Hide”? Let us know down below!

Hide lyrics — Darude, Audioventura & JVMIE

Pull me close, pull me closer
Tell me how does it feel
I could run, I could run forever
I leave those thoughts alone
You wonder where I go
It’s not your fault
We lost control
And I can’t hide forever
And I can’t hide forever
Close your eyes, I’ll take over
The silence is too real
I might fall, I might fall forever
I leave those thoughts alone
You wonder where I go
It’s not your fault
We lost control
And I can’t hide forever
It’s not your fault
We lost control
And I can’t hide forever
Hide forever
Hide forever
Hide forever
Hide forever
And I can’t hide forever

Look at his Instagram. He actually isn’t bothered by it.
In fact, he’s teaming up with UNICEF

Good for him to move on and continue with his work and music. His Eurovision mishap is nothing but a boo-boo to his expansive music career that shaped the EDM world by storm. I raise my glass to you, Darude.

If you want emotions, why don’t you post comments about the article? Don’t accuse me for posting gifs when you just don’t do anything else. Passive. Post something, or not complaine .

Kudos for sharing more about Darude’s music here. I hope many fans here will continue appreciating his music and other EDM music in general regardless of their placing in the contest.

I love Finland, in reality and in Eurovision, but this is… dubious?? His music is so cheap and poor, no emotions, nothing.. Saara was much better 🙁

Seriously? Like u for real? This ain’t even about Eurovision anymore! This is about him as an artist and doing his thing. No need to compare him to Saara because the are so different from each other!
And who are you to call his music emotionless and cheap!?!? I don’t see you saying that to other DJs, so why start with him? Why start now? Seriously, your BS is cringy af

Sorry but I won’t be attending any of his gigs. If the semi finals were anything to go on I would be bored stiff. Not to mention stretching out sandstorm for twenty minutes.

You gonna judge a person’s ability to hold a concert based on a Eurovision when the person in question has already had a bunch of sold-out gigs before Eurovision? Where’s the logic here?
