She’s an established Estonian pop singer. Back in 2017, Laura Põldvere took to the stage with Koit Toome in Kiev. Since then, she hasn’t gotten lost in Verona — her music career has continued to flourish. She has just released her new song “Keerleme“, the latest jewel in her crown, complete with a music video.
Unfortunately “Verona” didn’t take her to the grand final at Eurovision. But back home Laura receives continuous support from her loyal fan base.
Her new track “Keerleme” is a preview of what’s to come later this year. In fact, she’ll release a new album by the end of the year. We expect to see her around quite a bit and we are quite excited about it!
“Keerleme” — Laura Põldvere
Staying in line with the Eurovision 2017 motto Celebrate Diversity, the song brings nations as well as a widespread mix of musical elements together. Composed by a team of Estonian and international composers, there’s been lots of work put in behind the scenes. And it has definitely paid off in the form of the final product.
“Keerleme” is an infectious dance track that would make any party night complete! Throughout the music video, Laura shows off some well-rehearsed dance choreography. What comes across as a completely new side of her really looks like she’s been doing it for ages — she’s an experienced artist who can turn anything into gold.
The song draws inspiration from one of her previous tracks titled “2020”. Laura is building on what has already worked for her throughout her career and it slays.
As a first taste of her upcoming studio album, Laura is off to a great start with this new project. Whatever is to come, we know she won’t get lost in Verona!
