WURST – the new alter ego of Eurovision 2014 winner Conchita – is unstoppable! With an ever-evolving look and a thumping electronic sound, Tom Neuwirth is yet again pushing the boundaries of his new persona with three new singles — “Forward“, “See Me Now” and “To The Beat”.
Each of the songs will feature on the Austrian singer’s upcoming third album Truth Over Magnitude, along with previous releases “Trash All The Glam” and “Hit Me”.
“Forward”, the most recent, and perhaps the most topical of these three singles, has been released to coincide with WURST’s appearance at the Life Ball in Vienna this weekend. It is a song that addresses Tom Neuwirth’s personal development, whilst encouraging listeners to take responsibility in affirming the things that matter to them.

In “See Me Now”, WURST delves deeper into his emotional self. The electronic musical composition here cradles the star’s belting vocals. Built around looping verses of “coos”, soaring synths and a drum kit, “See Me Now” exposes Tom’s vulnerability during his musical evolution, whilst showcasing a more contemporary sound.

“To The Beat” is the most club-friendly of these three tracks. The visuals of the music video nod to a fairytale, but the message here remains consistent with his other tracks and is equally empowering: “Cover my ears, I will still hear the beat / Put me in chains, I will still feel all free / Cut off my legs, I will still walk ahead / Give up on me, ’cause I will still lead”.

The Austrian singer’s much awaited new LP Truth Over Magnitude, set to be released at the end of October this year, has been produced by Albin Janoska and co-written with Eva Klampfer. The album will hone in on the overall theme that no one should have to ask for permission to live their life according to their own rules.
In addition, WURST is also involved as an official ambassador for EuroPride, which is currently taking place in Vienna during the first two weeks of June 2019. In this role, he will appear during the parade and perform on the main stage on Saturday June 15th.
