The blindfold is finally off, and Miki Núñez finally has reason to celebrate.
As the spring dawns and European summer arrives, Spain’s 2019 representative has shrugged off his result at Eurovision and channelled only good vibes. The barceloni has released his latest track, a fun, up-tempo number, “Celébrate”.

The anthem channels the best ska-pop of the region, and is a refreshing return to Miki’s familiar sounds from Operación Triunfo. In the video clip, Miki takes the drivers seat in a blue Volkswagen, driving along the countryside – with friends in the back and music to be made. Miki surfs in a shopping trolley, scores in beach football and enjoys some male bonding at the beach, showing he’s here to have fun and live a little.
“Celébrate” is an ode to good, healthy living – and a perfect accompaniment with an orxata and a good beach lounge. Take us there…
Also as an ode to healthy living, Miki has been making sure his Eurovision workout routine has been kept top of mind, still affording time to head to the pools, even if just for two minutes.
And no doubt while Miki is finding time to celebrate the summer and enjoy the water, he is still hard at work. The Spaniard is expected to release his debut album in the European fall. We will, at least, have already a couple of party anthems to fiesta with.
