She’s the blonde bombshell who entered Germany’s Eurovision national final last year, and is currently attempting to represent at least seven other countries at Eurovision 2020. But for now, Eurovision isn’t the only thing on Aly Ryan’s mind. The pop singer-songwriter has just released the new single “5AM”, which sees her collaborating with Italian EDM duo VINAI.

The song was released on all video sharing and streaming platforms on Friday. This is after many days, or even weeks, of social media hype-up from both VINAI and Aly Ryan. The Italian duo shared a snippet from the song along with the cover art to their 764,000 Instagram followers.

The song is an up-tempo EDM track with a great drop. Aly’s vocals blend in very well with the talented duo’s electronic beat, and make for a great sound overall. The lyrics sung by Aly speak of an unsuccessful affair – seems like someone just couldn’t wear her love.

Aly Ryan might only be an upcoming star, but the Brescia-based duo aren’t new to the scene. They previously worked with Dutch DJ R3HAB to release the hit “How We Party” back in 2014. The music video for that song has over 140 million views on YouTube.  Taking all that into account, this collaboration could be a major boost for Aly’s career.

“Future Memories” hits 1 million streams

Meanwhile, Aly’s latest solo single “Future Memories” is gaining traction. Last Monday, she tweeted that the song had reached one million streams on Sound Cloud.

Following the song’s modest success, Aly announced the music video for the track will be released soon. On Twitter, she teased – in every sense of the word – a sensual, white colour-scheme music video. The teaser had fans impatiently waiting with their jaws dropped, and we simply can’t wait.

In the midst of these new music releases, Aly Ryan’s fans will no doubt be wondering if the singer’s quest to represent a country at Eurovision 2020 has hit a dead end or not. The German singer hasn’t revealed much recently.

But, with national final season now beginning to heat up, we won’t have to wait too long to see if things have worked out.

What do you think of “5AM”? Will we see Aly in Rotterdam, or is this the end of the story? Share your thoughts in the comment section!
