She’s the “Bigger Than Us” songstress from the UK’s Eurovision: You Decide 2019 national final. Now, Holly Tandy candidly tells us about her latest single “Small Talk”. Also, will we see her battling for Eurovision again? Read on to find out.
Holly Tandy — “Small Talk” (New Single)
The catchy “Small Talk” undoubtedly marks a shift away from the style Tandy showcased with her version of “Bigger Than Us” at You Decide.
Then we saw her ability to deliver a massive country ballad. By comparison, this track is like a breath of fresh air with a lingering hint of Spanish fragrance. Very fem “Despacito”.
Produced under Music Panel Records, “Small Talk” is Holly’s first single with her new label. She took to Instagram to express her excitement, writing “so excited to announce I’ve signed a record deal and have a new management”.

So excited to announce I’ve signed a record deal and have new management. My first single “Small Talk” is being released on 6th November. Watch this space! ????
Sampling more of a dance tone, the Yorkshire singer claims to be totally in her element, which is quite discernible from the music video. She doesn’t get cute. She gets drop dead gorgeous.

Holly Tandy Q&A: What about a Eurovision comeback?
From “Small Talk” to actual small talk, Holly recently had an exclusive chat with wiwibloggs. She gives an insight into the creative process behind the single while teasing her Eurovision future.
What is “Small Talk” really about ?
The song is about a casual romance. Something passionate and real but brief. Almost like “come on boy I’ve heard all this small talk before, lets get to it and don’t get ahead of yourself”. You know, a one night kind of thing (😉).
How was the experience filming the video ?
I was totally in my element! This is what I’ve been wanting to do right from being a little girl. I can’t wait for you guys to see my other projects I’ve been working on.
Fans of your country tinged take on “Bigger Than Us” will want to know: what was it like working in this new dance genre ?
So different to the country but definitely more in my lane, I feel this is where I belong in the industry and I’m excited to hopefully make a bigger impact and to give back to my fans including the Eurovision ones!
Lastly, any chance you’d try for Eurovision again ?
Never say never, we shall see!
