She’s the fan favourite who sang “Bombo” at MGP in an attempt to represent Norway at Eurovision 2013. Adelén might not have made it to the Eurovision stage but she was featured on the FIFA World Cup 2014 Album. Her career has continued to flourish and the latest chapter is her new single “Somewhere We Can Talk”.

“Somewhere We Can Talk” — Adelén

Adelén released “Somewhere We Can Talk” back in October but didn’t release the accompanying music and lyric video until last week. In this song, she straddles the line between jealous ex and passionate lover as she keeps the flame alive. She asks herself if this is something that she wants. Our girl might not know what she’s looking for but she’s “falling into your eyes”. She admits that she “never really stopped thinking about you” as she and her lover walk the tightrope.

Adelén has naturally released plenty of music since flying into our orbit with “Bombo”. Singles like “Wild Like Me” and “Go Home” have paved the way as she has grown from the teenage star she was when she first crossed our paths. “Somewhere We Can Talk” is her most mature product yet, with subtle hints of dark pop sprinkled amongst her traditional sound.

“Somewhere We Can Talk” — Adelén lyrics

It’s so typical, it’s kinda funny
I just started getting over you
Then I see you in the crowd
Heart is racing, thoughts are loud
I didn’t know you used to come around here

[Pre-Chorus] I’m falling into your eyes
You’re talking but I can’t hear a thing
The music is way too loud, so please

[Chorus] Let’s go somewhere we can talk
No we didn’t plan to start over again
Is that really what we want?
Let’s go somewhere we can talk louder again

Scared of looking back and realise that
I could’ve fought much harder for us two
I wanna take it back, find another way for us
‘Cause I never really stopped thinking about you, no

[Pre-Chorus] [Chorus]

Let’s go somewhere we can talk
Let’s go somewhere we can, let’s go, let’s go somewhere we can talk
No we didn’t plan to start over again
Is that really what we want?
Let’s go somewhere we can talk louder again
Let’s go somewhere we can talk

Can we talk about us
About the life and the trust
About the time that we’ve lost
Let’s go somewhere we can talk
I see you’re here with someone
But is she really the one?
Is she as good as I was?
Let’s go somewhere we can talk

Can someone please tell me if the Estonian songs have been reviewed yet. It’s just that a rival site has already posted all semi final songs.
