Raylee Wild Melodi Grand Prix 2020 Norway Eurovision

Just hours before the opening credits roll on the season premiere of Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix 2020, we can reveal that one act has the backing of almost all our readers. If their taste is to be trusted, “Raylee” should comfortably qualify for the MGP 2020 grand final with “Wild”.

Raylee is your favourite to win semi-final one of Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix with “Wild”

After counting a total of 1,191 votes, we can confirm that Raylee is the overwhelming favourite to emerge victorious in tonight’s first semi. “Wild” picked up 556 votes or 46.68% of all votes cast.

Questions surrounding samples used in the track don’t appear to have dented support.

Lisa Børud comes a distant second with “Talking About Us”. The entry attracted 277 votes or 23.26% of all votes cast. However, the competition may be tighter than this poll suggests.

When we look at streaming numbers on Spotify, the positions are flipped. As of Friday evening, Lisa led Raylee by almost 4,000 plays.

The two male acts bring up the rear. Just behind Lisa, is Geirmund with “Come Alive”. The track scooped up 240 votes or 20.15% of all votes cast.

Kim Rysstad’s “Rainbow” took home 118 votes or 9.19% of all votes cast.

The gap between the ladies and gents is even greater once Spotify streams are factored in.

Not a big fan of this semi to be honest. I hope we get much better songs later in MGP.

« Wild » was my personal favourite but I’d honestly be happy with any of those four songs advancing, especially if they perform better. Wild does sound like Replay by Tanya somewhat, but it’s catchy, what can I say.

“Wild” is the typical fan favourite, but sounds like a mix between Fuego and Replay. We’ve heard it and seen it before. I’m really bored of these songs. Crossing fingers for Geirmund and Lisa tonight. Come alive is by far the most interesting song among the four.

Ew no this song is so basic. Give me Geirmund any day over this. Also it rips off like four songs, so do with that what u will.
