Just hours before the opening credits roll on the sophomore episode of Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix 2020, we can reveal that one act has the backing of most of our readers. If their taste is to be trusted, Anna Jæger should comfortably qualify for the MGP 2020 grand final with “How About Mars”.
Anna Jæger is your favourite to win semi-final two of Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix with “How About Mars”
After counting a total of 1,268 votes, we can confirm that Anna is the overwhelming favourite to emerge victorious in tonight’s first semi. “How About Mars” picked up 697 votes or 54.97% of all votes cast.
Rein Alexander comes a distant second with “One Last Time”. The entry attracted 383 votes or 30.21% of all votes cast.
As for the rest of the field, to our readers’ ears at least, there is no hope. Kim Wigaard & Maria Mohn could only muster 154 votes or 12.07% of all votes cast.
Poor Tore Petterson brings up the rear with “The Start Of Something New”. With just 35 votes, it’s unlikely that that “something” will be Eurovision.
