On this week’s Super Saturday, seven national final shows will take place. One of the four grand finals will be Eesti Laul, which will put an end to our three-month wait to find out Estonia‘s act for Eurovision 2020. A week back, we asked you who you hope will win Eesti Laul 2020. Jaagup Tuisk, the bookmakers’ favourite, appears to be your favourite as well.
Eesti Laul 2020 – Jaagup Tuisk is your winner
The top three were separated by very significant margins, which reflect the semi-final two poll results. The top four also all came from that semi-final. Jaagup Tuisk seems to have the momentum to win Eesti Laul with his song “Beautiful Lie”, leading the odds and safely winning polls.
Tuisk came first in the poll, where his “Beautiful Lie” received 29.10% of the vote — 718 votes. SHIRA followed in second place. Her song “Out in Space” received 400 votes, which make up 16.21% of the full result. Traffic with “Üks kord veel” rounded out the top three with 11.35%, which is 280 votes.
In fourth was last year’s runner-up Uku Suviste and his song “What Love Is”. He achieved 7.74% of the total score — 191 votes. Then in fifth, after four qualifiers from semi-final two, is the first semi-final one representative. Egert Milder‘s “Georgia (On My Mind)” accumulated 151 votes, which makes up 6.12%. This is a huge improvement for Egert Milder since our semi-final poll.
Just outside of the top five, Synne Valtri feat. Väliharf with “Majakad” scored 136 votes, which is 5.51%. Inger’s “Only Dream” was seventh at 5.03%, with a total of 124 votes.

Uku won Eesti laul.
lol Anett x Fredyi got 80 votes on here, but they made it to the Super Final. Interesting 🙂
Vote for Uku Suviste!!
Yeesssssss! Thank you Estonia!!!!
I can sing along so easy to Egert and Traffic’s songs. They have that. I can’t never remember Beautiful Lie melody after even hearing it.
Not to mention which songs makes you feel good and smile.
I don’t usually call it early, but I think Jaagup Tuisk has just won this final. (Unless Egert jumps off his piano, or something.)
It seems like Uku is going to win, sadly.
Owh, really? Well he is quite good. It is Estonia’s choice, ultimately.
Ooo, Uudo Sepp just sang the song in a higher key than I have ever heard before for that track. I think it helped communicate the quieter bits to the audience, but the downside was that the loud bit at the end was a bit too screechy.
Still, well done for changing it up for the final. 🙂
Um, none of them, really!
Sorry but what are you doing here then??
Beautiful Lie is basically an Arcade ripoff.
You have either a very very low IQ or a mental disability that your brain is unable to distinguish between 2 different songs, which can share similar elementes but are overall different. Their melodies are different.
In the verses, even the melodies are similar. Everything else is just basically the same, even the lyrics are telling the same story (losing game — beautiful lie —— both translate as „I still love you even though I know there is no hope left”).
No, listen the verses more carefully, they’re not the same.
If you don’t get it, then listen the karaoke versions. they’re just both slow-tempo but saying that the melody is the same is too much. According to what you say, basically all songs copy someone. If you consider songs with similar genre, vibe the same, it means you must have a really simple mind and probably a low IQ. And about the message – we have sad male love songs literally all the time.
@Cloud: Agreed about the songs, but you could have been a bit more polite about it. Not everyone is blessed with great “IQ”, as you put it.
I said similar, I did NOT say the same. Since you imply that you’re more clever than me, you should be able to tell the difference between those two words. Both songs start with the backing vocalists doing a similar oh-oh-oh bit, followed by the lines “Taste the poison on your lips” and “A broken heart is all that’s left” respectively, both followed by a short moment of total silence and so on. The two songs don’t have the exact same notes in the verses, but the way are composed they provide the exact same dynamic and create the exact… Read more »
It’s the beat and melody that matters. Starting with backing vocals, the first line is followed by silence – come on, it’s not enough to call a song a rip-off.
How do they have the same notes in the verses? They’re just slow and sung with a quiet voice, it all doesn’t male it a copy.
It’s extremely easy to find sinilarities between 2 ballads, If you keep bringing the examples you did
This song and Romania-Alcohol you gives me such an Arcade vibes… why the repetition..? Not saying they’re bad, just nothing new about them….
Jaagup is a pretty good choice, but Egert Milder and Traffic are also fine choices imo. I will be happy with any of these 3
I prefer Traffic.
Traffic is getting momentum! I’m hoping they can pull off the win
Traffic need to win. I love Üks kord veel so much. Plus, I want a non-english entry for Estonia. It has been a while since they send an entry in their own language
Me too…. And “Kuula” was one of the most beautiful entries in the last ten years.
I agree. Traffic needs to win
No Traffic, please. lol
Please no. Not another ballad.
Üks kord veel isn´t a ballad…
It sound the same to me.
Beautiful lie isn’t just another ballad
This selection is so weak… Even the “best”entry Jaagup Tuisk could lead Estonia to be the only Baltic to stay in the semifinal, like in 2016
Jaagup must win! Probably he will be my winner of Eurovision 2020!
I love the song but I’m so disappointed with the live. Hope he’ll work hard on it if he wins tonight!
oh dear… this feels like a complete repetition from Duncan with a Billie Eilish rip off in there (and even a copy of her line “call me friend but keep me closer”, like, really?)..
And these words in that order are banned for others to use? Maybe we should ban word “love” too? There’s too much songs using that too.
Hey…that’s what the Swedes always do. Get “inspired” by some American pop song 😀
If Jaagup doesn’t win I don’t know what I’ll do…
Please win…
Meh
I actually feel like Synne and Väliharf will win the televotes and the super final, I don’t know why.
She really could. Estonians loved more Keiino than Duncan. I wouldn’t be surprised
This is really delusional 😀
If Jaagup doesn’t wnj then my life is over
i feel like his supporters might like his looks more than they like his song
He is cute, but i think Stefan looks better
