The Nordic nations – Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Sweden and Norway – have often been considered to be somewhat of a powerhouse group when it comes to Eurovision. In 2020, these five countries were set to serve a variety of songs. There’s gospel-soul, power ballads, nu-disco and more.

At the start of April, we asked you to vote for your favourite from the five Nordic entries selected for Eurovision 2020.

We counted 3,495 votes in total, and now we have a winner…

Daði og Gagnamagnið’s “Think About Things” is your favourite Nordic entry of Eurovision 2020

Taking home the gold medal in this poll are Daði og Gagnamagnið from Iceland. Their catchy song “Think About Things” picked up 1,131 votes. That’s equivalent to 32.36% of the total vote.

Even before winning Söngvakeppnin 2020, Daði og Gagnamagnið caught the attention of many hardcore and casual Eurovision fans with their 80s inspired bop. The song has gone viral across much of Europe and captured the imagination of many.

“Think About Things” also received a lot of love from the Wiwi Jury. Scoring the song a 9.5, Bernardo commented:

“Take note: “Think About Things” walks the line of musical quality, joke entry, commercial appeal and very good production, perfectly. From outfits to looks and choreography, this entry is planned from its very first second. This would be a contender for the victory and deservedly so. It is infectious and has cross-appeal in all age groups.”
