Sweden’s summer singalong show season will be starting soon, with another regular fixture on the calendar confirming their lineup for 2020. TV4’s Lotta på Liseberg has revealed the acts who will be performing in its eight weekly shows. But the one big difference this year — the show will have no live audience.

Lotta på Liseberg will be filmed at its usual location of the Liseberg Amusement Park in Gothenburg — but with no audience. This follows SVT’s Allsång på Skansen, who will also not have a live audience at the iconic Skansen open-air museum in Stockholm.

The lack of audience is a result of the Swedish government’s current coronavirus precaution banning public gatherings of more than 50 people — which includes live concerts.

But the show must go on and the series — hosted by Lotta Engberg — will feature a star-studded lineup of Swedish Eurovision and Melodifestivalen acts as well as names from the world of Swedish music.

Victor Crone — who represented Estonia at Eurovision 2019 — will return to home turf as part of the lineup. Other Swedish Eurovision stars on the bill are Eric Saade, Anna Bergendahl, Robin Bengtsson, Jill Johnson and Robin Stjernberg as a duo, Eurovision winners Charlotte Perrelli and Måns Zelmerlöw, and — fresh from her “Carpool Karaoke” fame — Nanne Grönvall.

From Melodifestivalen 2020, the show will feature The Mamas, Dotter, Hanna Ferm, Anis Don Demina, Frida Öhrn and Drängarna.

Other Melfest regulars will include Molly Hammar, Dolly Style, David Lindgren (with his wife Kristina Lindgren), and Wiktoria.

The show will screen weekly on Mondays, with the first show on 22 June on Sweden’s TV4.
