Let’s face it — 2020 has been a rough year. The Covid-19 pandemic has taken lives and caused economic disruption around the globe, countries have struggled with extreme weather events, and there’s also been plenty of political and social turmoil. But Russia’s Little Big are here with a Christmas song to really sum up the year — “S*ck My D*ck 2020”.
It’s a simple song — if you know the title, that’s most of the lyrics. But the rave-pop group do a good job in driving home that message, that 2020 really needs to s*ck their d*ck.
And being a Little Big song, it comes with a colourful and eventful music video with a cheerful Christmas theme.
Little Big are found celebrating Christmas in their pleasant living room, complete with colourful Christmas sweaters. Except the sweaters have the knitted slogans “Jingle My Bell 2020” and “F*cking 2020”.
Band member Sonya brings Christmas cheer by trimming the Christmas tree with baubles resembling the coronavirus. Christmas stockings hang over the fireplace… only they’re filled with severed limbs.
The video is packed full of references to the worst 2020 has to offer. The group sit down to a delicious Christmas dinner and celebrate with a glass of Novichok sparkling wine — novichok being the nerve agent used in high-profile Russian poisonings.
There’s plenty of dark humour, but it serves as a cautionary tale. The video ends with the message: “Never forget 2020, never repeat 2020”
And who knows what 2021 will bring for Little Big!

Little big are just the type of guys who believes that cursing through a song with a popular (or potential meme) topic is deep, and their fans thinks the same just because they say that random cursing in your face while been unapologetic (which is what twitter fandoms thinks make them unique) just say whatever you want no matter if it is insulting or rude, or non poetical at all, like every little big song.

Little Big have always wanted to be silly, and they embraced it once they achieved it. That’s why they have a cult following, and well earned and deserved!
Sometimes, you don’t need more words to describe something.
Little Big just does what Little Big always does, making songs and videos for fun (like that big fake smiles for a christmas song).
And I actually laughed at the cookies, that would be something for me ^^
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think that their song for ESC 2020 was one of the weakest (if not THE weakest) from them. I mean not only their previous songs were better, but I loved all the songs that they released after Uno (Hypnodancer, Tacos, Suck My D*ck 2020). If they are to comeback in 2021 I hope that they will send something better than Uno.

it might just be my state of mind at the moment, but this really hit me hard. the mv, like most little big mvs, is humorous and features a lot of clever references in a pretty packaging, but in style and message it’s more similar to the bands’ early years, with dark undertones to the bright and absurd visuals. people are incapable of properly processing all the events that have fallen upon us in this single year, we’re so tired of the monstrosities of the world happening every day and we’re so used to them, that we’ve got no choice… Read more »
Never understood the hype around this band, the same cheap, repetitive music with vulgar, and stupid lyrics, all their songs I have ever heard are horrible, its not music it’s a joke and not a funny one
Totally agree and do not understand the people who rated their “song” on a par with Think About Things and On Fire. Make Irlande Douze Pointe look like a masterpiece.
