Junior Eurovision 2020 Georgia Belarus France

Junior Eurovision 2020 will take place in just three days.

However, due to the ongoing global pandemic, it will be a contest like never before. Apart from the hosting, most of the show will not be taking place live. Instead, all of the performances were pre-recorded some weeks ago.

This means that we won’t get to see the usual rehearsal snippets. But fear not, you don’t have to wait until the weekend to get a flavour of what’s in store.

Between Monday 23 and Thursday 26 November, the EBU is uploading “first impressions” of about three acts each day. These snippets consist of behind the scenes footage and images from when the acts recorded their JESC 2020 performance.

On Thursday, we got first impressions from Georgia, France and Belarus. All three performances were recorded in local TV studios.

Preview snippets of 11 of the 12 competing acts have now been released. Germany’s sneak peek is due to be released on Friday morning, while the longer performance clips for all 12 acts will be released in the afternoon when the online vote opens.

Who do you think made the most impact?
