Semi-final two | Deltävling 2 — 13 February 2021

Time: 20:00 CET to 21:30 CET

Semi-final two of Mello 2021 will be streamed live on SVT Play. It will be available to watch worldwide. It will also remain online for catch-up viewing — but only for the weekend. On Monday, it will go offline until after the fourth semi-final.

The second heat will see seven acts perform. As always, the semi-final results will be determined solely by the viewing public through a mixture of app and phone votes. There will be a short break in the vote at which point the two lowest acts will be eliminated. Voting will open once more, after which four entries will remain — the top two songs will go direct to the final while the next two will progress to the andra chansen round.

The running order is:

  1. Anton Ewald “New Religion”
  2. Julia Alfrida “Rich”
  3. WAHL feat. SAMI “90-talet”
  4. Frida Green “The Silence”
  5. Eva Rydberg & Ewa Roos “Rena rama ding dong”
  6. Patrik Jean “Tears Run Dry”
  7. Dotter “Little Tot”

Christer Björkman is hosting all six episodes of Melfest 2021. He will be joined by a selection of different co-hosts throughout the series. Melfest regulars Oscar Zia and Anis Don Demina are assisting him in week two.
