Jorn Faith Bloody Faith Melodi Grand Prix 2021

The newly-introduced Sistesjansen or ‘Last Chance’ round of Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix 2021 is almost upon us. In just a few short hours, one eliminated semi-finalist will get a wildcard to Saturday’s grand finale. But before that, we can reveal the act that our readers are backing — Jorn with “Faith Bloody Faith”.

Jorn is your favourite to win the Melodi Grand Prix wildcard

After counting a total of 3,811 votes, we can confirm that Jorn is a narrow favourite to win tonight’s special — which starts at 20:00 CET. “Faith Bloody Faith” picked up 702 votes, which amounts to 18.42% of all votes cast. However, the margin of victory is extremely tight. The veteran rocker is just four votes ahead of his nearest rival.

Hot on Jorn’s heels is his fellow semi-final one singer Stina Talling. The elevate songstress picked up a not too shabby 698 votes or 18.32% of all votes cast. And while Stina may not have come out on top with our readers, she is number one with the bookies.

There is only one wildcard ticket up for grabs. And while a top-five finish won’t be of much comfort to the acts that don’t make it, we’ll go through our reader’s picks nonetheless. Daniel Owen is in third with “Psycho”. At 464 votes, he’s a long way behind the top two. The only other act to secure votes in this range is Royane. The “Circus” performer picked up 464 votes. Ole Hartz  completes the top five, taking home 292 votes for “Vi er Norge”.

Poll results: Who should win the wildcard to the Melodi Grand Prix 2021 grand final?

I have Faith… and it’s Bloody! GO JORN!!!
When the songs were released, I thought Elevate was a cert, but the live performance was pretty weak. Jorn however lived up to and exceeded expectations!
