Semi-final three of Melodifestivalen 2021 takes place this evening. Seven acts will perform with the hopes of snatching one of the four places that allow them to advance in the competition. If it were up to you, Charlotte Perrelli and Tusse  would be going away victorious.

The top two of tonight’s semi-final will head direct to the grand final, with the next pair getting passes to andra chansen (second chance).

You read the media reviews, listened to the audio snippets and watched the rehearsal clips. We asked you to vote for your favourites and you made your voices heard. Now, vi har ett resultat!

Charlotte Perrelli is your favourite to win semi-final 3 of Melodifestivalen 2021

After counting a total of 1,359 votes, we can reveal that Charlotte Perrelli and Tusse are your favourites to take the top two spots in the semi-final and go direkt till final.

It was a tight battle between the two of them to see who would come out on top. But in the end it was Eurovision 1999 champion Charlotte Perrelli who emerged as your favourite from semi-final 3. Her entry “Still Young” received 413 votes, which is 30.39% of the total.

Tusse followed closely behind with 380 votes (27.96% of the total). The winner of Swedish Idol 2019, the Congolese-Swedish singer has emerged as a favourite to head directly to the grand final with his song “Voices”.

Securing your two spots in andra chansen are Klara Hammarström and Alvaro Estrella.

There was a clear top three in this poll and Klara Hammarström was just short of reaching a place in the top two. Instead, the star had to settle for a respectable third place, with y’all awarding her song “Beat of Broken Hearts” with 313 votes (23.03%).

Things start to drop considerably in terms of voting share from here. The only other act to achieve more than 100 votes was Alvaro Estrella. Enough of you seem to be dancing along to his song “Baila Baila” that you’d give him another chance in andra chansen. Alvaro picked up 116 votes (8.54%).

Unfortunately, that means the other three acts would be sent home if the results were up to you.

Emil Assergård’s entry “Om allting skiter sig” translates to “If everything goes wrong”. Sadly, it seems not many of y’all disagreed with this and he finished fifth in this poll with 76 votes (5.59%).

In sixth place is Elisa. Her song “Den du är” picked up 31 votes (2.28%).

Finally, coming in seventh position are band Mustasch. The group have been under scrutiny this week over a previous conviction for sexual harassment. Their song “Contagious” only received 30 votes (2.21%).

Poll results: Who should win semi-final 3 of Melodifestivalen 2021?

  1. Charlotte Perrelli – “Still Young” – 30.39%  (413 votes)
  2. Tusse – “Voices” – 27.96%  (380 votes)
  3. Klara Hammarström – “Beat of Broken Hearts” – 23.03%  (313 votes)
  4. Alvaro Estrella – “Baila Baila” – 8.54%  (116 votes)
  5. Emil Assergård – “Om allting skiter sig” – 5.59%  (76 votes)
  6. Elisa – “Den du är” – 2.28%  (31 votes)
  7. Mustasch – “Contagious” – 2.21%  (30 votes)

Total Votes: 1,359

For the first time in 7 Years I won’t be watching Mello. The weakest semi ever and Mustasch should have never been allowed to compete.

Pretty weak heat this week. Tusse and Perreli are the best but it’s not a standout field in any way. Nothing that shouts “winner”. But Tusse could be a good top 3 contender I guess.

Just wondering

Why did Charlotte kept her ex husband’s surname?

Doesn’t it make sense to go back to your original one or change it to your new husband’s surname?

I mean, I wouldn’t like to carry my ex’s surname all my life… don’t get it

Please my point is not judgmental, just wondering. (Angela Merkel is another example)

Tbh that is something I wondered about as well. No jugement on my part, just curiosity.

Career wise. It is actually quite common to keep surnames of former spouses. Susan Sarandon for instance. She divorced Sarandon in the 1970s but still keeps the name.

Because her older last name (the one she won Eurovision with) is pretty basic. Every neighborhood in Sweden knows a Charlotte Nilsson. Perelli sound snore exotic and fun

I hope Charlotte goes DTF, I also voted for her. I’m sure Tusse will qualify DTF, based on the momentum behind his entry and all the attention he’s receiving.

A woman who is not afraid to be old is Brigitte Bardot, all natural. Charlotte Perrelli on the other hand…..

Why would you make a comment like that? Neither women need your judgment of their looks. And Charlotte has spoken before about getting a number of surgeries during her very difficult marriage to Nicola Perrelli. Have a bit more compassion.

Eh? Brigitte Bardot is also a supporter of Front National or whatever they are called these days. That is not something to be ideal. She is also what, 80 years old? When you are that close to death you don¨t need to worry about age either..
Perreli on the other hand had a difficult marriage with msicarriages, cheating spouse and messy divorce. If that makes her feel better who are we to judge..

I don’t want to hurt anyone, hope Perrelli is happy with her choices. Allow my opinion:when you are unhappy is not the right context to go to surgery.

Everybody has different opinions of course. You might think its wrong but dont judge others who dont think so. No one is wrong here.

Think it actually could be right. The best of a pretty weak heat! Dotter looks like the one to beat, though I fear Swedes choose Tusse cause they “feel” him!

Typical politics in Sweden. If Tusse wins against Dotter I hope Sweden is OUT and last place in semi final
