It’s almost time for the Ariston Theater to open its doors to the 26 acts of Sanremo 2021. We’ll hear the songs for the first time on Tuesday 2 March when the first night of the Italian music festival airs.
But while we wait for the entries to drop, we can reveal the one act which has left our readers giddy with anticipation — Annalisa!
Annalisa is the Sanremo 2021 act you most excited for
After counting 3,173 votes, we can confirm that Annalisa is the act that’s left y’all gagging. The star hoovered up support, capturing 594 votes — that’s 18.69% of all votes cast. Annalisa is a Sanremo veteran, previously competing on four occasions. Most recently, she finished third with “Il mondo prima di te” in 2018.
Coming a close second are Francesca Michielin & Fedez. The pair picked up 584 votes, just ten votes behind the poll-topper. That’s 18.37% of all votes cast. Francesca is, of course, best known to Eurovision fans for representing Italy at Eurovision 2016.
The top three is completed by another song contest veteran — 2018’s Ermal Meta. He takes 9.68% of the tally. That’s 307 votes.

realistically it will be måneskin or irama that win, annalissa i could take or leave
Really looking forward to the start of Sanremo! Do we have any information on which songs were the journalists’ favourites? I recall that every year wiwibloggs post an article on this topic but this year I didn’t see anything.
From what I saw I think “La Rappresentante di Lista” and “colapesce and dimartino” were quite successful with them.. But that doesn’t mean anything if we look at their ranking last year..
BTW they said that Irama is the best for eurovision.

I am a huge fan of Måneskin so, I am excited to see what they present!
Only italians can understand the hype behind Sanremo. It is not just a matter of music and songs, it is about style and culture. Thousands of iconic moments and images have taken piace in the years. The best world artists have performed on that stage, either as contestants or hosts.
Tomorrow I hear them all for the first time I am excited <3
