Sanremo 2021: Madame “Voce”
Francesca Calearo, aka Madame, is a very young exponent of the Italian rap scene. At only 18 years old, she has already won the support of the public and critics with a personal and recognizable style and many important collaborations. Her tracks “Sciccherie“, “Baby” and “Defuera” have been certified gold.
What do the “Voce” lyrics mean?
The young Madame doesn’t bring a real rap to Sanremo, but rather a vocality with unique characteristics. Those who know her style will find it also at the Ariston. “Voce” (Voice) is a dedication full of feeling and nostalgia. She’s waiting to be able to embrace again, to be able to say: I missed you. The style, however, is contemporary and “urban”, with an incisive arrangement made of vocal filters and powerful bass.

Oh, yeah, this is a great song. I just listened to her performance while reading the lyrics and it leaves an impact. I hope her chances improve, cause she deserves it.
