That’s really sad for other countries then if you can be overvoted by Croatia (that has barely 4m people) in a poll.

Jesus Christ she posted a screen shot of a poll once for the poll before this one. And literally wrote nothing let alone “begging for votes”. Pettiness is not a good look just because your fav is 17th or something.

I’d like for people to say bellow this comment if they voted for Croatia and where are they from, (and what other songs they voted for) 😀 so we’ll see.

I’ll start. I’m from Croatia and voted for France and Croatia. Not because I’m from Croatia, I genuinely love only these 2 songs.

There are a few others that I like, but don’t love (Lithuania, Italy).

(P.S. I didn’t see Albina asking for her fans to vote in this particular poll. She did it once a few weeks ago, but not for this one.)

I have really tried to connect with Tick-Tock but it is just not clicking. I find the use of the word “play zone” really off putting and the “oh no, oh no, oh no” is really grating for me. I’m pleased that Albina is getting lots of support on here but I just don’t see that it will do very well in Rotterdam. It is a borderline qualifier at best for me – I think there are other songs in that genre which are better.

We do have a good song and judging by the reception and aggregator lists on You Tube, I am inclined to believe we will qualify. Still, I don’t think that Tick Tock will win or finish in top ten and I do believe that these votes are inflated by quite a lot. If I’m wrong and Albina finishes in top ten, I’ll be very happy, though. At least finally we have a song people are not ignoring from the start.

That’s true, but all the criticism was warranted. The Dream was pretty bad. It deserved to NQ. 🙂

Roko’s wings looked like chicken wings. Especially ones he used in Dora. Tix’s staging looks more polished and in line with his lyrics. Still, I’m not sure it helps him in creating an intimate atmosphere with the audience. Oh, and on top of that, Fallen Angel is a much better song on it’s own.

Maybe it just helped you to connect with the song and that’s okay. Music is subjective in many areas. 😉

Please guys we like to pretend we didn’t send anyone to ESC that year. It was really a disgrace that we sent Roko and not Lorena.

Song maybe is better, maybe not…. but saying it has polished its very subjective. Roko has very simple, angelic presence on Dora and for Esc at least 1 part sitting in volcano was brillant… Personally, didnt like the song and didnt enjoy seeing those angels effect. Dream could be much better if stick to simple staging and different narrative.
But Norway this year is awful and doesn’t deserved to be Q too!

Actually, Croatia can qualify to the finals, by the time she has their ”friends” Slovenia, North Macedonia and she will get more likely points from countries like Malta, Romania and few points from the others. Unless she flops on stage.

It’s a borderline qualifier but on the finals I feel that she will get a result equal to La Venta from Spain 2 years ago, cause it’s ”allies” in the semifinals will move towards Serbia, Albania, Moldova and Italy and other entries in that region

Croatia will have a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to receive even 5 douze-points in the GF televoting (Slovenia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Austria, Switzerland), if Serbia and Albania (and Portugal in terms of SUI) don’t make it to the GF.

I wouldn’t dare to rate Greece yet, but I’d second his high ratings for Germany and Spain. In fact, while 90% of Wiwibloggs dislikes Germany, almost every non-Wiwi related Youtuber was really happy with it.

Sadly, Greece is sure that they won’t win this year. They need to send a top class entry that everyone in Europe will like it, just like what happened with Israel in 2018, by the time nowadays Greece lacks the televoter’s support

Croatia got a lot of help from Russia, Australia, Norway, Belarus which selected likely NQ songs. I think Croatia qualifies, but it isn’t a lock. The song is good and the singer is a good performer, but her voice isn’t where it needs to be.

No, sorry, Norway won’t qualify with that song and staging. It just won’t. The teens that voted for it in Norway obviously did not care about Eurovision. We’ve seen Australia’s performance and it is a NQ also (which is sad, it’s one of my favorite Eurovision countries).
