He’s the Greek fashion designer behind Beyoncé’s stunning looks from the “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour”, which launched in 2013, including that Swarovski-studded bodysuit.

And now Vrettos Vrettakos will be working with a new muse — Greece’s Eurovision 2021 singer Stefania — on her outfit for the song contest this May.

Stefania announced the partnership in an interview with Gala, the biggest celebrity magazine in the country.

Vrettos is a big fan of Eurovision and frequently works with its alums. Eleni Foureira and Helena Paparizou are among the stars who have worn his looks at events from MADWALK to the judging chair of The Voice.

Stefania is thrilled with the news. Commenting on our Instagram post where we shared the news, the “Last Dance” hitmaker wrote: “Blessed.”

Stefania appeared on the cover of Gala with her Greek uncle Yiannis Stankoglou, a well-known actor who has worked in film and theatre across Greece, Europe and the United States.

Writing on her Instagram account, Stefania compared her uncle to James Bond, as he wore a classy tuxedo in the glossy photo spread.

Yiannis said: “Stefania is a great girl, a dynamic young artist that we all love. She represents the Greek person who lives and excels abroad.”

Stefania was asked about how the pandemic had impacted her. She said:

“It changed all of our lives. In my case, it all happened at a time I had been waiting for. When you are 15, 16 years old, you make plans for the freedoms you get at the age of 18, for the fact that you will be able to go out until late or to see your friends more, and the quarantine deprived us of all that. And I say ‘us’ because it concerns all children my age.”

“Professionally, the cancellation of last year’s Eurovision was a shock to me, because I did not even know if I would have the opportunity to go again. I owe a huge ‘thank you’ to ERT, as it was one of the first broadcasters in Europe to confirm my participation in the 2021 competition, turning grief into joy in a few hours “.

I’m a bit surprised this song isn’t doing better in the odds. I think it’s 15th to win, meaning it has a halfway decent chance of getting into the top 10. Still, some of the higher ranked songs aren’t that great ….

Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see the live performance. A lot will depend on the staging, as well as whether she can sing this well live.

she looks stunning and the song is really good! i guess the success of it is that it wasn’t written specifically for Eurovision.

Anyway, i think she’s gonna do much better than Supergirl.

One of the youngest talented fresh acts this year well done Greece.. I like when a country showcases their local talented designers and promote what best the country has to offer as a whole package. Greece this year seems that they want this so much!!! Best luck to sweet Stefania.
