Eurovision 2021 Semi-Final Two Songs

“You” from Georgia’s Tornike Kipiani dropped on Monday, completing the line-up for semi-final two of Eurovision 2021.

The journey began way back in December when Albania selected Anxhela Peristeri and “Karma”. And we’ve had a whole host of genres in between.

Eurovision 2021: Semi-final two line-up

The 17 semi-final two acts range from schlager throwbacks to modern melancholic pop. We’ve got violent pop and dramatic chansons. Rap, bubblegum pop and ethnic dance bangers all feature. However, only ten of the 17 will make it out of the 20 May semi-final and into the grand final.

First half

  • Austria: Vincent Bueno “Amen”
  • Czech Republic: Benny Cristo “Omaga”
  • Estonia: Uku Suviste “The Lucky One”
  • Greece: Stefania “Last Dance”
  • Iceland: Daði og Gagnamagnið “10 Years”
  • Moldova: Natalia Gordienko “Sugar”
  • Poland: Rafał “The Ride”
  • San Marino: Senhit “Adrenalina”
  • Serbia: Hurricane “Loco Loco”

Second half

  • Albania: Anxhela Peristeri “Karma”
  • Bulgaria: Victoria “Growing Up Is Getting Old”
  • Denmark: Fyr & Flamme “Øve os på hinanden”
  • Finland: Blind Channel “Dark Side”
  • Georgia: Tornike Kipiani “You”
  • Latvia: Samanta Tīna “The Moon Is Rising”
  • Portugal: The Black Mamba “Love Is on My Side”
  • Switzerland: Gjon’s Tears “Tout l’Univers”

Precisely who will qualify is anyone’s guess. But who do you want to see make it? You can listen to each of this year’s second semi-final contestants in the playlist below. Then vote for your favourites in our poll. You can vote for as many contestants as you like, but you can only vote ONE time, so make it count.

This poll closes, just ahead of the first rehearsals in May. It’s up to you, Europe. Start voting now!

Who should win semi-final two of Eurovision 2021?

[crowdsignal poll=10778254]

Who did you vote for? Who will win? Who should win? Let us know below.

If contest for Sex Appeal, Georgia’s Tornike would b my Nr 2 after Czechia’s Ben Kristo. Unfortunately quite disappointed by Tornike’s entry whole Ben’s Omago is touching me. Concerning Portugal: excellent handicraft but it doesn’t reach me.

Well, right now Greece has 3200+ votes. If Stefania managed to make her fans vote her here on Wiwibloggs (I expect till May that she will remain first in that poll), is she able to persuade them vote her in the contest? If she is able to have that appeal on the votes too (remember the majority of Stefania’s fans are not Greeks or Cypriots, but Western-Europeans) she will totally slay in Rotterdam, by the time the major problem for Greece in the last years isn’t being underrated by juries (as this was the problem in 2018,2010-2014, and 2016, where… Read more »

Please do not tell me what to do you are just reinforcing my silencing argument.. You seem far more confused than me.. 1) You have wrote bad comments about Stefania that nobody cares about her and that nobody knows her especially when for her age she has done so many things in Netherlands why you are just a nobody yourself typing in your little phone about someone that you don’t know neither you have done at least a basic research for to see how talented they are. 2) You are the one above arguing first with someone who is trying… Read more »

Stefania is a huge fan of the contest, no surprise she visits wiwibloggs and asks her fans to vote. It was so cute last year that she was replying in comments on Youtube and on sites xD. Its just a poll and nothing prevents other artists from sharing too if they want. I am actually glad she is leading this, she is my favourite this year, and shes only 18! From what i see, i think people are not looking in a smart way. Portugal in this semi will place between 7 and 12, why? Cause the song will be able to win jury votes and also they have Spain, France, UK and Swiss voting.

Your opinion, but the “nightmare” team has made much better job this year in the 3 countries they are working too (Greece, Moldova and Estonia). Still I kinda hate Estonia and I’m pretty sure that Moldova might have staging problem, but Greece is going to slay. Also, in the Greek song, the dream team didn’t have the main role in the songwriting process, by the time there was also ARCADE group, a group of very talented artists like Anastasios Rammos (artist that has many hits, like “An Me Deis na Klaio” with Helena Paparizou and “Se Dio Mono Matia” )… Read more »

I’ve heard that Dimitris Kontopoulos wrote the melody of the song (which was a ballad btw) and then ARCADE built on it and made it 80s pop song. So Kontopoulos had the main role in the process and then ARCADE worked on his idea and melody. Also, ARCADE is a group of people, if you’re gonna start naming people it’s only fair to mention them all and not just Anastasios Rammos. Anastasios Rammos is also a singer so he often gets all the attention but there are other 5 talented members in the group that are hardly ever mentioned. So… Read more »

I know it’s a bit silly to do before the show, but my qualification predictions are like, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Iceland, Finland, Czech Republic, Greece, San Marino, Serbia, Latvia, and Moldova. Albania I say is borderline and could swap with a couple of those.

For the first semi it might be Lithuania, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Malta, Romania, Ukraine, Ireland, Croatia, and maybe Belgium. I think the first semi is harder to call because you have some solid songs from countries that have missed the mark on staging as of late so it could go either way.

In your 5 unlikely, Portugal, Austria, Georgia, are very good vocalists they could impress.

It’s Eurovision, they’re usually all good vocalists. I think those songs will struggle and are unlikely to qualify over the others, especially considering Georgia, Austria, and Portugal are demonstrably not countries that are able to acquire enough votes to qualify with only a mediocre song. I think Samanta will qualify.

I mean a good song but with bad vocals could struggle to qualify and an average song but with fantastic vocals could qualify instead. Yeah I admit that normally each participant should be a good singer but it’s not always the case unfortunately.

I’m sure Benny will qualify, he’s great live and song is catchy. Most likely one of the “bops” will flop, they’re too many and no juries will back them all!

I do not get for the life of me why people keep severely underrating Benny Cristo….he’s like a 75% chance the way I realistically see it

THANK YOU exactly. Yes, his song is more of a grower which isn’t usually the safest strategy for Eurovision but everybody keeps forgetting that he is not a “singer” he’s a PER-FOR-MER. It’s not a coincidence that he’s been one of the biggest names in music in the Czech Republic for quite a while, I’m expecting a great show in Rotterdam. I’m Czech btw, you can trust me he IS good.

I can say that the opposite is the truth. Czech Republic usually struggles with the televoting, with the only exception in 2018 – and in the semifinals of 2019 (even though in the final they got like 7 points) which semifinal had particulary televoter unfriendly entries . Now that they are in a strong semifinal (it’s not weak as many people will say) they only have Poland as a voting ”ally”. If the song was really good to stand out against all the others he would have no problem, but if he is one of the opening acts it is… Read more »

I like so many of the songs this year that I really can’t choose.
By the way, Georgia’s song deserves more votes, come on peoplez… don’t let me down. 🙂
