Another Eurovision season means that another group of incredibly talented women will sing for their countries in a bid to win Eurovision 2021.

Just like 2020, there are 17 female solo artists, including several returning acts and a few fresh faces. They’ll join 13 male singers, seven bands (possibly eight, depending on what happens with Belarus), one duo and one trio in Rotterdam. But first, it’s time to vote for your favourite female solo singer in this year’s competition.

Who is your favourite? Is it one of those who got re-selected from 2021? Do you prefer a ballad like the ones from Bulgaria or Romania? Or are you more a fan of some uptempo-bops such as Cyprus, Moldova or San Marino? As always, you can vote for whoever you want and as many singers you want. But you can only vote one time, so think about it and make your vote count!

Eurovision 2021 – female solo singer

Note, for the purposes of this poll, we are counting Senhit as a female soloist rather than a duo with Flo Rida. That’s in accordance with how the San Marino entry is listed by the EBU on Eurovision.tv. Furthermore, Flo Rida will only join Senhit in Rotterdam if circumstances allow him to travel.

Poll: Who is your favourite female solo singer at Eurovision 2021?

[polldaddy poll=10773679]

Who is your favourite? Are you backing singer from last year or a fresh face? Let us know in the comment section below!

Female singers are the weakest every year. Btw people dont vote for San Marino, coz its a duo. People like their song mostly thanks to Flo Rida. Why is this country in this poll?

Yeah, but only because of her boring taste in songs – she’s got talent for sure! – but you kind of need good songs as well.

Yeah, that’s really frustrating with her. She clearly has a great voice, but keeps picking pretty poor songs to show it off. Amen is only slightly better than folder, but not by much. Amen might be one of those songs that could barely scrape into the top 10 of the jury vote, probably ninth or 10th Place, but it will get Sunk by the televote and won’t qualify.

So many amazing women this year, and most of them bringing different stuff! I love Victoria and Roxen, they give me a soft vibe I adore. Ana and Anxhela have these super powerful voices I really like – their songs are amazing too and terribly underrated. Eden is absolutely amazing, and she has this great positive energy that will flood the stage. Elena, Senhit, Destiny are also favourites of mine… how to choose?

They said: “We’ve written like 6 songs; two of them have been sent to the regulator [without clarifying whether it’s the EBU or the local broadcaster]. We’re in the process of the postproduction and making the video(s). Something’s gotta be out by the end of the month”

To sum it up, there’s a detail in their interview. It’s been said that one of these two songs is about “little bunnies” which is a colloquial term for belarusian rubles. Brace yourself for another tongue-and-chick bop about people being bought off to protest against the regime.

To those voting my comments down: I don’t really understand the reasoning for voting comments down that are just expressing my opinions on songs in a song contest, without any other intention. If you do not share the same opinion with me on a certain issue, that’s completely fine, as we all have our own opinion. However, disliking comments of other people no matter the content is just disrespectful and childish. I don’t even have the desire to share my opinions anymore, because I already know that no matter what I write, my comments will be voted down again. I’ve… Read more »

High level of relentlessness against Malta right here, again. Why are you bringing the country and Destiny here ? KRM didn’t even mentionned them.

I really feel you and agree so much with your reasoning, but that’s also the part of the game. Our opinions will always be disliked by a few people, even if it is unfair and useless. We can’t change that.

However, I really still don’t get why people dislike your comments if they’re wise and positive. You’re saying nothing wrong or negative against any country.

So far you’ve called:

1. Russia’s past songs outdated
2. Icelands entry (this year) bland and boring, which won’t qualify
3. Barbara Pravi’s song overrated
4. Sweden’s selection Melodifestivalen bad
5. Said Tornike should just release his song rather than a clip, but when Efendi did it, it just got you excited
6. Jewish people problematic
7. Israel’s selection a mistake
8. Armenians t*rrorists
9. Italy overrated
10. Greece meh, but okay
11. Spain just bad

That’s a scary history of all of what KRM wrote here. You really did note what he/she posted on every article ? That’s really scary.

The things you’ve pointed out — if they’re accurate — aren’t that important because KRM isn’t forbidden to express negative reviews about certain things — songs, teasings, NF etc. However, what you’re writing at the points 6 and 8 aren’t something that must be expressed, especially the point 8.

Well that’s not all, there’s even more comments and also on the other names KRM writes with, but my point is that if you tend to give harsh words on other acts people will start noticing and disliking you as a person. You can’t expect to be friends with people after you’ve been rude to them.

I get you but do you have evidence to prove what you’re writing ? The writing of comments under other usernames ? ‘Cause I can’t trust you without proof. That’s logical for me to ask you that first. And ‘giving harsh words’. Well, to me, ‘boring’, ‘meeh’, ‘bland’, ‘outdated’, ‘bad’, ‘is a mistake’ aren’t that problematic as adjectives. I mean, if something bores you, the proper adj to qualify it is ‘boring’. That’s logical. If you feel that he/she is giving ‘harsh words’ on things, that’s a matter of perception, girl. ‘Cause to me they aren’t harsh. On the contrary,… Read more »

Are you ok? First of all, it’s really scary and crazy that apparently, you take notes of what I type here. If you do so, at least, do not give any false information and do not slander me! I’ve never said that all Russian entries are outdated. I was just referring to Sergey Lazarev’s and Yuliya Samoylova’s song which I rather found boring and outdated. If outdated is a provocative term, then correct me by proposing a more appropriate term, since English is not my first language. I’ve never said that. Yes, I said that Iceland will/could possibly be a… Read more »

I don’t take notes on your comments, but we can all read previous posts here and the comments that are written under them. I’m not saying you can’t say you don’t like some songs, but if you say something bad about other people’s favourites, of course they might not be your biggest fans after that, it’s just how people behave.
