It’s the eve of Eurovision fortnight. Tomorrow seven acts will take to the Rotterdam stage for first rehearsals with 32 more following in the days to come. And as always, the early run-throughs could shake up everything. But for now, all we can do is look into our crystal balls or examine tea leaves.
At the start of April, we asked y’all to vote for your Eurovision 2021 favourites before rehearsals. After counting a total of 36,426 votes for 39 acts, the results are in.
Poll: Greece’s Stefania is your favourite to win Eurovision 2021…before rehearsals
She’s proving to be a popular poll topper in these pages, including yesterday’s semi-final two rankings. And Greece’s Stefania continues his streak today. The “Last Dance” singer picked up 4,009 votes, that’s 11.01% of all votes cast. That’s almost 750 more votes than her nearest rival.
Taking silver is Malta’s Destiny. The “Je Me Casse” songstress scooped 3,261 votes or 8.95% of all votes cast. Destiny might not be top here, but she’s currently the favourite with the bookmakers.
Taking the third and final podium spot is Switzerland’s Gjon’s Tears. The “Tout l’Univers” performer amassed a tally of 2,453 votes or 6.73% of all votes cast. He’s remained a consistent favourite since his selection and is currently leading the annual OGAE vote.
If our readers are to be trusted, the rest of the top ten will consist of France’s Barbara Pravi, Croatia’s Albina, Italy’s Måneskin, Lithuania’s The Roop, Cyprus’ Elena Tsagrinou, Romania’s Roxen and San Marino’s Senhit.

Do you agree with the results? Is Greece your favourite? Which songs are underrated? Let us know in the comments.
Vote in all our Eurovision 2021 polls.
Note: This poll is just for fun. It is not designed to predict the final result in May.
Greece is a good song, but it will not win. These polls are a bit silly because artists can direct their fanbase and skew the polls.
Greek fans are at it again. When in reality she might not even qualify.
She’ll qualify, but yeah I agree with your saying
Can someone explain to me why this Greek entry wins every poll its involved in on this site? It’s not reflected on other ESC fan sites and certainly not in the betting odds. I’m very confused.
If true, Stefania is a smart saleswoman and a fierce competitor. It’s very helpful to have a loyal fanbase for a competition like Eurovision.
Besides, I’m willing to bet other artists are doing the same.
Why not? She has a great song ! Top 5 material
Ehm sure jan
I can’t recall Greece doing well in any of these polls or the betting odds for a long time. It’s #11 on the OGAE Poll, and #11 in the betting odds, and #10 in the betting odds for a top 10 finish. Overall, a good sign.
I think much of this is due to Stefania’s charisma. Not so much the song itself, but rather the artist is very likable.
You can criticize the Greeks but what about Malta bots too ? Would have been a joke too to have Malta in the first place.
Difference is that Malta is the realistic favourite to win unlike Greece
Is that a joke? It’s bloody awful
“Last place / Last place …”
For me, it is very refreshing to see someone else at the top of the leaderboard. We’ve had almost a month of daily articles about how great Malta, Switzerland and France are, it’s nice for someone else to get a look in!
Completely agree. Cos some year is turning of betting odds winners but again other years betting odds were so wrong.. Elena Fureira was 16 in the polls and betting odds and nearly won the trophy and there are many many other examples. Many things will change after the rehearsals and especially after the semis.. Then we will have a better view.. Why not Stefania or any other good song to win?? People should get over themselves, chill, breath and stop been nasty all the time.. If she wins she worths it cos she has got talent, great song and voice.… Read more »
No way. Netherlands jury will give 4-6 and televoters 1-2. Cyprus jury will give 10 or 8 and televoters the same.
Delusion, as always.
Bet ?…and bet for my other delusions (sic) too. Only tell me about these.
When things like this happen, you kind of start losing respect towards these polls. It’s a plain overhyping fans’ toy.
These polls never had any respect.
Greece is my winner this year but very big surprise to see it as a favourite in this poll.
It’s not a surprise it’s just fangirls that are voting.
Or even 48, as every country gives 24 points summed up (12 jury + 12 televote)
Don’t be that sure. I would only be sure about the Greek televoting because Elena Tsagrinou is way more popular in Greece than Stefania
Russia and Azerbaijan are WAY too underrated here. They’ll both make the top 10.
I guess the majority of people don’t agree with me? lmao
I agree they are just Greeks downvoting everything that isnt their entry or Cyprus.
Everyone’s talking about Stefania and how her Dutch fans spammed the ‘Vote’ button but I can only feel bad for Belgium, Moldova and Georgia. For God’s sake Tornike is even lower than Vasil………………..
Thats sooo hilarious. She might even struggle to advance to the final.
It ain’t gonna happen….
Lol sure Jan
Yessss! So happy to finally see Greece among the favorites, I’m OBSESSED with that song and even though I don’t think she will win, feels so good that the fans show some support! GO Stefania!!
thanks god eurovision has millions of televoter population and fans can’t determine the winner
Wowww the dark Pegasus horse is coming for the win.. Is my top favourite as well. Best of luck to Stefania she can win this indeed.
Stefania is the new Roko lol
I’m curious to see what she will bring to the stage in few days.
Roko? What year,country?
Croatia 2019
Hope not as Roko stayed in the semis
i fear that it will be stefania’s only success
This is clearly self-voting. Source: I’m Greek.
There is no need to apologize so much.
Well at least we know where the Dutch televote points are going this year 🙂
I’m not too sure about that, because she actually isn’t that well known in the Netherlands. Yes, among teenage girls, but whether they suffice for the televote remains to be seen.
Dutch children are probably gonna watch the grand final and ask their parents to vote. The Junior Songfestival (what Stefania is famous from) always asks the Dutch kids to vote for the Netherlands in Junior Eurovision a hundred million times. They’re probably gonna be like ‘Oh mom, Stefania must win, can you vote for me please?’
Well deserved, best pop song I’ve heard in a while in ESC. Quality production and outstanding vocals. Go for gold Greece, good luck from Turkey.
@William Lee Adams, it would be really interesting to see the ips and from where these votes do come from.
Anyway, congrats to the fans for supporting their favorite artists!
One day left for the very first rehearsal! OMG!!!!
The top 5 is super strong and then there’s Croatia for no reason at all lol. Her fans should really stop spamming these polls, it’s not helping her.
Greece will not only have the youngest participant this year but also the youngest spokesperson ever in the history of the contest, who is a 10 years old actor!
And he’d deserve all the hype!! He’s gold. This is so out of the box for ERT. Congrats
Yes and I love it, ERT is not only taking it seriously this year but also thinking out of the box, it was about time
Fingers crossed
Oh my God I saw that somewhere, is he going to announce the jury votes?
Yeah! Youngest spokesperson ever!
He’s so talented (and adorable)!
The Dutch teenage girls and the toxic Greek eurofans did it again.
Haters gonna hate no matter what!
Its just a poll, stop spreading hate.
Enjoy the contest instead!
1 day left!!!!!
I am not a hater i like her song but it is true the people who vote for this poll are Dutch teenage girls and Greek eurofans.
Wow….you R so clever….I thought azeris and egyptians voted for Stefania…!!! I suppose the rest of the viewers too.
Hate? It really is getting out of hand with all these lunatic greek fans,if you can’t accept judgement, don’t call it hate.
Maybe you are more toxic, when you constantly make comments against Greece? Seems like you have an obsession.
I love Greece but it is true that Greek eurofans always overhype their entries.
Yes this is true and silly…and you can freely laugh…as they are free to say their things…even bullshits if you want.
But I never listen a “greek lunatic fan” to call other fans as Lunatics !
Be careful not to bite your tongue.. You must be fuming. 🙂
I am not fuming.
Heheeh oh yes you are mate
I am not why would i.I just told that the Dutch teenage girls and Greek eurofans voted for Stefania and that is true.
You can tell the true in a less offensive manner. We all know about Stefanias insta and her fans…but you wanted to say more against specific people.
sorry if i hurt your feelings.
Ok Roodi, there is no need to be sorry. No bad feelings.
Sorry, we are a little bit more passionate about our entries and some of us get to be mean to everyone that says sth bad about our song. It’s in our nature, skip this please! We are good people hahaha
Only Azeri fans are toxic, Greek, Spanish and Croatian voters are just supporting their own country, that’s not restricted
oke Passionate Greek eurofans voted for Stefania
I know (actually they were mostly Dutch teenage fans of Stefania but ok), again though how exactly are they toxic for that? If there’s someone here that’s toxic it’s you
I also sayed Dutch teenage fans in my first comment.
Ok and thank you for not exaggerating
So Dutch teenage girls and toxic Greek eurofans DONT HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE….in a wiwi poll !!!!
Zeigh heil !
ps-you know boy, these are 2 different things. The silly one to vote anyway for your fav artist or your country…and the second silly to scream against people.
Did I say that Dutch teenage girls and toxic Greek eurofans not have the right to vote?
Russia is soo underrated I can’t even…
These polls are a mess every single year…
In terms of malta coming 2nd, again, although each song could have a different outcome to its predecessors, Malta for the last five years have not done well with televoters. This has either resulted in non-qualification or a low placing in the final. Although each song is ofc unique and has the chance to have a chance of success in the competition, I don’t see Malta getting a very high televote. It can do well in terms of votes but in terms of placing, I don’t see this being incredibly high (televotewise). That’s why I think Malta won’t win. I… Read more »
I agree with you. It’s a difficult year to predict for sure. We might even have a surprise winner no one talks about as of now.
I’d really like that to be the case, I don’t want the french Arcade to win.
I’d be glad if a country that hasn’t won wins the contest this year
Just ridiculous..
Lol
But still, better than Malta!
Genuinely embarrassed (as a Greek) right now
in all fairness to Stefania, she just nailed it LIVE on national tv
As a Greek myself, although I like our song and think we have chances to do good, I don’t believe we can win. For now imo France, Italy or Switzerland have the highest winning chances and I would be thrilled if one of these three actually wins.
Switzerland sounds zero chance, except if every one else of the favorites does really badly. There is really low chance two similar songs can win consequently.
Yes I see your point. I believe Switzerland has the lowest chance out of the three countries I mentioned. I still consider them a favourite though because I expect a nice staging. Perhaps if their staging is different than Arcade, the similarities of the two songs will pale in comparison.
If I’m not mistaken, I think Gjons staging is supposed to be different to Duncans. I don’t exactly know what it will be but there’s been multiple mentions of him not having a piano on stage.
I think they are looking to do something quite artsy for the staging but, I guess we’ll see on Tuesday :).
Yes I heard something like that as well. Looking forward to Tuesday!!
Yeah right……
So what else is new…
Oh okay, as a fellow Greek I feel ashamed of what Greeks have done here. What’s the damn point? We can’t vote for ourselves in the actual contest so what have we (they) really accomplished by making all online polls look rigged?
we always were a proud nation that’s for sure
This happens every year from Greece
Really ?
