It’s almost two weeks since the grand final of Eurovision 2021 but its top songs are still making an impact. Songs from winners Måneskin, runner-up Barbara Pravi and televote runner-up Go_A have all made an appearance in this week’s Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Chart.
The Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Chart is based on overall streams and download sales of singles, and focuses on all territories outside the United States.
Måneskin are the highest placed Eurovision 2021 act. Their single “Zitti e buoni” has reached No.11 in the chart. The song first entered the Global Excl. U.S. Chart back in March, following Måneskin’s Sanremo win. Back then, the song only made it as high as No.106, whereas the impact of Eurovision has seen the song almost make it to the top ten this week.
The Italian rockers have also made the chart with their album track “I Wanna Be Your Slave”. The song — which Måneskin performed live at the Wiwi Jam at Home 2021 — has reached No.73 in the chart.
France’s chanteuse Barbara Pravi also makes an appearance in the chart. Her song “Voilà” has reached No.70 in the chart, bringing some French style to the international chart.
A little further down the list, Ukraine’s techno-folk stars Go_A are at No.80. Their song “SHUM” is seeing in the spring for listeners around the world.
Go_A are also having success in genre charts. “SHUM” is No.27 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and No.12 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart.
All Eurovision 2021 acts to feature in the chart have songs with lyrics not in English.
Also featuring on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Chart is Eurovision 2019 winner Duncan Laurence. His winning song and later popular viral hit “Arcade” is at No.37, clocking up 17 weeks on the chart.
As well, the Billboard Global 200 chart looks at the most popular songs in the world — including the United States. On that chart, Måneskin have made it to No.26 with “Zitti e buoni”, while Duncan Laurence is at No.50 with “Aracde”.
Måneskin chalk up more successes
Meanwhile, Måneskin continue to chalk up more successes following their Eurovision 2021 win. The group is set to have two songs in the UK top 40. The mid-week singles chart update indicates that the group’s album track “I Wanna Be Your Slave” will join “Zitti e buoni” in the coming week’s chart.

Over on Spotify, Måneskin are now among the top 500 most popular artists on the music platform. Specifically, the group have earned a rank of #464 in the world. As lead singer Damiano David said on a recent Instagram story, it’s a big achievement considering some said the band wouldn’t even last beyond their time on the X Factor Italia.
Måneskin have also clocked up over 10 million months listened on Spotify, showing that their Eurovision win has earned them a substantial new fanbase.

People are following Maneskin because they are not a one hit wonder, they have two albums with each song better than the last, not even close to a bad song on either albums.
Eurovision has put them on the map, but it’s their catalogue of quality tracks that has massively increased their following and making it stick. You only have to look at youtube reactions to their music, there are countless reactions covering most of their songs.

I would like to know the thoughts of Mr. Deban Aderami about the success of Måneskin. I am curious to know. Maybe he can admit he was wrong in hyping the finnish or maltese entries and not the italian one? It would be nice from him.
No need to have Deban thoughts about Maneskin s win.
They won and are having a huge international success. Thats the most important thing, not what Deban feels
Living too much inside the ESC bubble makes a bit loosing the sense of reality.
Wiwijury and ogae failed with their judgments
If not jury Ukraine could be the third !
it doesn’t really matter… Go_A and Queen Kateryna have gained the worldwide audience and much love…
Another proof that Eurovision is powerful and stronger than ever. It’s a great platform for artists that can be different in a good way and present something special. Stage charisma.
I never expected them to do this well and people to follow them so much.
I Wanna Be Your Slave is looking to be even bigger than tjhe Eurovision song.
Torna a casa is a beautiful song. I don’t speak or understand Italian so I had to translate the lyrics to find out why I was crying lol

I also have to admit that half of the spotify listens of Coraline and I wanna be your slave are mine, just to clarify lol

Eurovision coming back stronger than ever makes me so happy
I’m so glad for non-english acts making it to the Global Charts! Thank you Italy, Ukraine….! It is such a big step forward for ESC to have an impact on music charts

Hi Robyn, are there any ESC songs in the charts down under?
Nothing made the Australian Top 50
Z&B is #38 in NZ
Who’s Z&B? Did Zena and Barbara make a single??
:-))) Zitti e buoni is Z&B, but it´s not in the official NZ charts.#38 is Doja Cat.So there is actually no ESC song on the charts in NZ.
You are right, It is the Hot 40 Singles chart.
Oooh ok thanks, I’m an idi0t
it is the very first time when a Ukrainian language song appears in the World’s charts… Kateryna and Go_A are true icons and legends…
This is what they deserve.
the biggest win for us is that these songs are NOT in english! hoping for a competition with more variety and foreign languages now!
Yes that would be amazing. Delegations THINK we want English, but we want to hear songs in the country’s language.
except when the language is Danish LOL
That not how ESC works. Just because non English songs were succesful this year doesnt mean they will be next year. Did Salvador win in 2017 change anything?
